This is fixed in TML Version 6.4.10. When a user provides a new password on the Lost Password page they now have a checkbox to allow a weak password.

    Thanks, Jeff!

    Hi Matt –

Thanks for giving us advance notice of this feature. I waited a few months and installed it recently. It’s great and has all the functionality I need.

Hello, Foad. I also have an issue similar to this.

I am also using both TML and AIOWPS, but I tried deactivating AIOWPS and still get the same behavior, so I’m not sure it is related. At least for me, it could be a pure TML issue.

Please let me know if you find the cause of this.

    THanks,

    Mike

Thanks, @wpsolutions, for your quick reply.

This is interesting … I upgraded from AIOWPS 4.2.7 to 4.2.8 and the Theme My Login plugin is still working. It seems the conflict is a bit more subtle.

I will monitor it as I upgrade various plugins and let you know if it becomes a problem again.

    Thanks,

    Mike

There is another conflict between AIOWPS and the Theme My Login plugin. With v4.2.2 of AIOWPS (the latest version available at https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall/advanced/), users are unable to log in using their email. They can only use their userid.

Fortunately I had AIOWPS v4.2.7 in one of my backups and was able in install it, and it works correctly with Theme My Login for both this issue as well as the /your-profile page issue I reported at the beginning of this thread.

Is there another AIOWPS upgrade coming that will fix these two recently-introduced bugs? Is there some reason you don’t archive all the versions of AIOWPS?

    Thanks!

    Hi Matt –

    Thanks for your quick reply.

I’m using GoDaddy and it handles the caching automatically. I tried using the /?nocache=1 option and still got this error. But, again, this only happens with these two versions of the plugins. So, it doesn’t seem to be a caching issue.

I’m not aware of any controls I have over the cookies or sessions, but again, I didn’t have this problem previously.

Yes, that’s the exact wording. I cut and pasted it.

It seems to be some interaction between the two plugins because the older version of aiowps didn’t behave this way.

    Thanks,

    Mike

Thanks, Pascal, for your quick reply and for your great plugin!

I saw a minor issue … the time on the “IPv4 database exists. File date: May 22, 2017 11:18 pm” message (also IPv6) is not adjusted to the local time zone.

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Some further info …

It looks like User Switching only conflicts with TML when the Page Links To plugin is also present, so this is a 3-way conflict.

    Thanks, John.

    Mike

    Hi John –

I’m running into the same conflict with Theme My Login and I’d be happy to help you identify the cause of the problem.

I use the “theme-my-login.css” stylesheet, Custom Passwords, Custom Redirection, Custom User Links, and Themed Profiles. When these are all enabled the user switching doesn’t work (it doesn’t seem to do anything). When I turn all these off, but with TML still activated, User Switching still doesn’t work.

But when I deactivate the Theme My Login plugin entirely then User Switching works. So it seems to be some conflict with the core functionality of the TML plugin even without any of its features turned on.

I’m using TML 6.4.9, User Switching 1.0.9, and WordPress 4.7.4.

Please let me know if I can provide any additional info.

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Hi Mike –

Thanks for your reply and for your great plugin.

I think the option to skip the reCaptcha for logged in users (or a separate but comparable option) would be equally useful for the New Topic and Reply forms.

I have a membership site. We want to allow non-registered people to give us comments, but we don’t want spam. Your plugin has eliminated the automated spam we were getting. But if someone is a member, and has logged in, we know we can trust them and so we really don’t need the reCaptcha.

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Thanks, @mahlamusa.

I upgraded to version 1.4.5 and the error has gone away. Good job!

And likewise for the Subscriber info.

What is your timeframe for the next release?

This will be a great plugin once it is complete!

    Thanks,

    Mike
