Hi Guys –

I’m guessing … but I suspect there are two steps needed to support the export/import of attachments:

1) Identifying the attachments and including the link in the .csv file export, then having import restore that link; and
2) Exporting the files themselves, probably each to separate files, then having import restore these into the Media Library.

If, as an interim solution, you only did step 1, I could identify and restore the media files manually. This might be a quick partial fix on your part and still allow your tool to be usable with forums that include attachments (which is many of them).

Longer term, however, it would be great if bbPress Import & Export did the complete job and handled attachments automatically.

But on my Forums IM-EX -> Bulk Import Process -> Import to bbPress page, I do not have a “Select a Mapping File” option to enter, so I am unable to select post_id Column Header as do not import.

The file I would like to import was created by your export tool from a bbPress environment, so in my case the mapping should be one-to-one.

The explanation in your documentation is not clear: “You get the mapping file option(s) for auto-mapping only if you save the mapped fields with a user defined file name while Mapping the fields. Select the required mapping file from the Select a mapping file drop-down list as shown below”.

I created the .csv file from your export tool and I did not see any option that would generate this. Did I miss something?

Can you let me know how I can get this “Select a Mapping File” option?

I figured out the problem.

I went to Settings -> Permalinks and re-saved the form. Now it works.

Did I miss this in the docs? Maybe it should be highlighted more.

Hi Jeff –

I deactivated all of my plugins except TML 6.4.7 and this is still an issue.

I have a TML widget in the sidebar, Default Action is Login. With v6.4.5, when an invalid username or password in entered, the error “ERROR: Incorrect username or password.” is displayed in a pink box in the sidebar.

But in v6.4.6 and v6.4.7 no error message is displayed.

I am using the Storefront theme.

Does this give you all the info you need to reproduce it?

Hi Matt –

Generally, the changes are new pages, new media, and other content changes. My site is a membership management site and I use Paid Memberships Pro (not a blog). In the future I will add an online store using WooCommerce. I might work on changes over a few weeks and then need to push it to my production site, so there will definitely be new donations in that several week interval. (But I will put the production site in maintenance mode during the hour or so that it takes to move the site over, so there won’t be any donations then.)

It would be good if Give used only its own tables and didn’t co-mingle data in other tables.

Hi David –

I also have the same issue as you, and the same environment — GoDaddy hosting and gmail mail engine, and it stopped working recently.

I use the Postman SMTP plugin and I can see that my emails are being sent, but they are not all received.

I also notice that (let’s assume my domain is mydomain.com) emails sent to domains other than mydomain.com are received, but emails to users on mydomain.com are not.

Is this the same error you are seeing?

This was working for me for a long time, then it just recently stopped working. I hadn’t changed anything so I’m wondering if maybe Google changed something on their end.

Hi Jeff,

Problem solved.

There was a problem on the plugin upgrade and it didn’t get activated, which lead to these errors. I was able to activate it and v6.4.7 is now working.

However, the error message issue which was introduced in v6.4.6 (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/errors-not-displaying/#post-8538433) is still an outstanding issue in v6.4.7, so I will still need to revert to v6.4.5.

Me too.

I have the TML widget on my sidebar. With 6.4.6 no error is given if an invalid username or password is entered.

I reverted back to 6.4.5 and now “ERROR: Incorrect username or password.” is given.

This is only a problem in the sidebar widget login. When the user goes to the full login page it works properly in both versions.

This is great, Devin. I will look forward to that add-on!

I hope it will support the following:
– Not just deaths, but also contributions for other occasions (sometimes people suggest a donation instead of a birthday present, etc.)
– The option to send an additional email to another person (besides the confirmation email to the donor, another email to the birthday boy, next-of-kin, etc.)
– The ability to specify the amount donated, or to not specify the amount on the additional email
– The ability to add a personalized message on the additional email
