I haven’t changed anything since my original post, and now the plugin is having the same problems again on both of my sites, but only in Chrome. Any advice?

I had to deactivate it and come up with an alternate solution due to a press release yesterday. Here is another site where I am having the same problem:

The image on the left is intended to open as a colorbox overlay with several pages from the zine. I’d like to continue using colorbox, but since we’re considering a redesign anyway, if I can’t isolate the problem soon, I’m inclined to drop it altogether.
