Sorry for late reply
If you go to plugin language folder you’ll see some file like:
wp-books-gallery-bn_BD.po
Rename your po file like this with your country code. For example, the locale for German is de_DE
After that change your langualge from wp admin: Settings -> General -> Site Language

Just choose date from Sorting By option in WBG Books -> Gallary settings and your books will sort by date descending automatically.

We have added an option to choose Ascending / Descending both in the next release. Hope you’ll get it soon

Did you check trying another theme? or changing permalink as mentioned in forum?

We are also using elementor for demo page and sometimes it shows the error with some theme.

Our plugin is fully free still now. May be the cost you are mentioning is from newsapi.org which is totally different third party. We use API from them to fetch data. You can buy API from them or use free API with limited access.
