    This will automatically re-create all pages?

    I tried this. It’s a part of a purchased theme. And, darn it! they won’s answer my post in their forum.

    Andrew, you have solved my issues.

    I should mention that I am an HTML autodidact. No classes, just experience, trial, error and more error. But I did do my first website back in 1993, so I seem to recall a few things. Started learning CSS in earnest in 2005.

    Thanks to your link, I’m set on the menu structure. One thing for other readers that is important: If you want something to be a proper link, use a hash (#) if you don’t have an actual page yet. Navigation menus tend to be styled in one’s style sheet in terms of the items being actual links and many times they will not work unless you actually have a link.

    WordPress has the initial link set to https:// (then nothing). That may not resolve correctly. A hash will tell a web browser to go to the top of the page (which is pretty much where you are if you’re in navigation anyway).

    Now, for the next hurdle…

    I have informed my hosting company of this fact. They were very thankful. They will rewrite their website.

    This issue is solved and thanks, Esmi.

    OK, then the site is safe.

    I shall notify my hosting provider that their website is incorrect, pointing to this page. Do either of you know which version of WP successfully did the cleanup to make the site safe so that my hosting provider can change their directions to read:

    If you are installing a version of WordPress version 2.5.1 or greater, it is not necessary to remove any installation directories, as WordPress will have all ready done that for you.

    I can edit CSS, but I generally make websites doing Dreamweaver. And I’ve been looking at line 19:

    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width">

    It seems to me this is what enables the responsive part of the CSS. Can I simply pull the site into Dreamweaver and comment out that line without WordPress putting it back?
