In reply to: [Easy Forms for Mailchimp] Form doesn’t show upI’d really rather not. A basic thing like the form not showing just means I move on and try something else.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Breaks when you use the CaptchaI didn’t ask for help. I reviewed the plugin.
I didn’t diss ‘everything other user who has success with it as a substitute for asking for help’.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Breaks when you use the CaptchaThere’s no unusual CSS that can account for why, when I embed the form using the shortcode with the captcha activated, it screws up the entire form. The submit button moves to outside of the main body of the post – when it’s absolutely, 100% inside the post. I’ve used other contact forms with the same CSS with no such problem.
So hopefully people won’t be fooled by your lame attempt to deflect and blame my CSS for your faulty plugin.
And CHRIST, when you try to deactivate it, it won’t let you do it unless you agree to send your email address and website URL to the makers of the plugin.
HIDEOUS SPYWARE. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] Broke my siteOnly after I went back into categories and re-saved the ‘podcast’ category.
Note: I’m no longer getting the 500 server errors when trying to attach mp3 files from other external sources.
There’s no problem with the RSS feed, and it does this with every mp3 file. I’m trying to narrow down whether it’s my webhost, mediafire or the plugin that’s causing the problem.
The particular file I noticed the problem on was this one:
[audio src="https://www.mediafire.com/file/sifeq63xmmv9e9t/Disinfowars18.mp3" /]If you could check and see if powerpress will recognise that URL on another site then it’s probably a server-side issue.

In reply to: Cannot edit CSS/PHP theme filesThanks Andrew, that did the trick.
For others’ reference it was the Medium plugin that was causing the issue so if anyone else has this problem then I suggest deactivating that first.

In reply to: Can’t edit main theme php files after upgrading to 4.9I am having the same sort of problem – I cannot edit the main theme CSS or PHP files, I get a 530 error and it tells me to edit the file via FTP.
Clearly this is quite a major bug that’s affecting a lot of people so I’m guessing it’ll be fixed soon. Still pretty irresponsible to release an updated version of WP that screws up people’s ability to edit their own themes.
I installed the update recently, and then the next update that came a day later. I still had this problem.
Even if there’s no security issue it’s just an irritation to have to close an advert over and over and over and over again. I’d rather look at other auto-mobile theme options than mess about any longer with this one.
