In reply to: [Beaumont] Featured ImageHi Anders,
bingo! This time it worked as expected. Maybe a cache-thing?
Anyway – many thanks for helping me on! ??
Now I can move on to smaller changes – fontwise and alike.

In reply to: [Beaumont] Featured ImageHey Anders,
thanks a lot for the quick reply.
I tried that before, but this eliminates the image I want to keep – the one below with the rounded corners with a caption.
I don’t understand why and how the larger one gets pulled in and I cannot prevent that.
I just made the site accessible so you can use the inspector.

In reply to: [footnotes] Blogs all messed upWell,
actually I did not loose credit on your plugon. It is still the best of its kind.
On
https://fotoblog.mchlksr.de/fotografie/lightroom-mit-der-fotogalerie-x3-verheiraten/you can see 2.0.4 at work without problems.
Same here:
https://nebenbei.mchlksr.de/gimmicks/distro-hopping-leichtgemacht/But: When I installed 2.0.6 on nebenbei.mchlksr.de everything was messed up again.

In reply to: [footnotes] Blogs all messed upCould be the issue came with 2.0.5. Not sure. The updates followed so very close to each other. But definitely rolling back from 2.0.5 to 2.0.4 did not fix it.
I could try to go from 2.0.3 to 2.0.4 now, but … °|°mic

In reply to: [footnotes] Blogs all messed upHi,
well, as mentioned reverting to 2.0.3 was the remedy. So you won’t see the bug on my pages right now.
https://nebenbei.mchlksr.de/
https://fotoblog.mchlksr.de/The footnotes appeared in post which actually had no footnotes at all. So the database was messed up somehow.

In reply to: [Garfunkel] Styling post-formats not workingHi Anders
yes, as far as I am concerned. But I think the issue persists. See scrots.

In reply to: [Easy Photography Portfolio] Photos no longer showingSame here. My portfolio is not visible anymore. Although everything looks as it should.
An update to this plugin was announced long ago, but never happened. :/Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [zuari] Excerpts on blog pageHey Prateek,
Zuari is a hot candidate for my blog. But I have the same problem. I’d like to stick to using excerpts.
“Read more” is not an option unfortunately, as this would mean that I’d have to edit several hundred posts…
I hoped it would be as easy as replacing “the_content” with “the_excerpt” in some files, but it is not.
So it would be great if you could add that option.
Cheers!
M.After a lot of testing and flushing caches and whatnot I am sure the issue is caused by uBlock Origin. Not an obvious thing though. Not eben whitelisting my own page did help. But there is a setting for “cosmetic filters”. Disabling that and – tadaa! – the images show up in the feed.
Many thanks for having a look! ??
M.I do not know what that first link is. None of those I posted.
Of course I used petapixel.com/feed before. It does not work properly.
It shows only text. Also the feed that used to work most of the time – https://monovisions.com/feed/ – only shows text today.
That is the oscillating effect I spoke of: works, works not….BTW: In widgets there is no shortcode.
So?
Hey,
https://petapixel.com/
https://www.photopresse.de/
https://www.artlimited.net/These are the ones that did not work reliably.

In reply to: [Smart Hashtags [#hashtagger]] DesasterWell, I may have sounded harsher than I usually do. But I was really pissed.
I did not even expect there would be a problem like this.
And BTW you did not explain why your plugin prevented me from adding *any* tags manually – even if there was no #hashtagged tag left in any given post… So this “good practice”? Really?
Of course I did not only open those posts. I changed their content for a reason. Updating links, changing tags (Big success!! LOL!)… And saved them afterwards.
It might have been wiser to make the deletion of any tag by #hashtagger an *Opt-In*, not an *Opt-Out*. Just sayin’…
Cheers!

In reply to: [Smart Hashtags [#hashtagger]] DesasterSame issue as described here.
So you do know that the plugins deletes tags.
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/it-removes-my-old-and-new-tags/I even could not add missing tags by hand anymore, not by inline-editing, not via quickedit in the dashboard.
It took me over an hour to restore my former tags on quite of older posts that I had only just opened (not even edited) with your plugin activated. I am glad I did not open even more posts to check where all my tags had gone until I figured that #hashtagger had eaten them up.
For me that qualifies as #desaster and #annoying.
Now the plugin is gone for good.
Regards!
