I wrote too soon, Mr. Krill. I forgot to activate the plugin when I reported the update fixed my problem. The problem is with Jetpack statistics: they do not load when the plugin is activated. I am using 2011 theme.

I am reluctant to experiment now that I have the site up and running well, again. I notice that some have had problems depending on the type of server they are using. I am on DreamPress which uses a varnish preload cache. I wonder if that might be the reason the update broke those plugins and didn’t appear in the plugin list after upgrade.

Well, after the update it failed to appear in the plugin list. At the top of the plugin page was a warning that 3 plugins had been uninstalled because they caused an error. When I tried to install the uninstalled plugins, they could not be installed automatically.

I visited the site via FTP and had to manually delete google site map plugin and the others which had caused the errors.

I was then able to revert back to a prior stable version of google site maps and was able to reinstall the other plugins.

I do not know how or why this happened but it happened when I “upgraded” google site maps plugin.

Resolved the issue. WP Super Cache was not clearing properly.

Yes, I noticed the same problem. One of my posts begins with “$1000+” but the post shows as “00+.” Otherwise, great plugin.

The update to WP 3.8 seems to have fixed my issue. Perhaps you anticipated it. Happy Holidays!

Yep. Same problem here. Same error since upgrade to 2.6.1. W7, FF 25.01.

I had this problem, too. I solved it by again disabling all plugins, re-updating, and saving the updated permalink structure. This broke Bullet Proof Security, which needed to be reactivated. After re-activation, everything is back to normal.

Thank your for this instruction update. Still, I cannot get the text input fields to expand beyond those set as the default, no matter how I change the numbers in the suggested field(s). Could you provide an example of exactly which settings need to be changed so that the width of the input fields re name, address, etc., is exactly the same width as the message area and each is twice as wide as the default?
