Problems fixed with hotfix plugin

I found husobj’s solution really effective. It works ok now

There is a problem with this plugin and the new version of WP. Wait until the author will fix it.

The .htaccess rewrites are battling with my WordPress rewrites because there are bugs in this plugin. If I deactivate it, looks ok but I need it. So I would say better wait until the author will fix it.

Actually I know that it might work if I switch it to the basic but there is a problem. I spend more than 2 months working on the current theme in order to make it look good. I wouldn’t like to get back to the default and start everything from zero…

It looks like the two widgets interfere with each other. I am not sure what you can do but try to make the widget 2 as 1 and see if it works. If yes then you know the second is a problem.

Had the same problems in Google chrome. In all the other browsers works fine. Trying editing a post in google chrome is a total nightmare for me. Before you do anything with the plugins just try in another browser.

Can you check it out in another pc just in case.

If no then start to disable some plug ins from your ftp (don’t delete them).

If the problem insists then check if there is a script (picture, mp3) or anything else that blocks up the system)

This is very complicated. I had the same problem and I fixed it as follows.

1)Find the redirection plug in. Add it and activate it
2)Create the page and give it a name that you want. F.e “Secretaty’s Page” and publish it
3)Create a category with the same name as the page you created before “Secretaty’s Page”
4)Go to dashboard, tools and there you will find the redirection plug in. Click on add redirection
5)In the source url click the url of the page as it is displayed when you open it (it would be like somethingyourblog.com/secretary). In the target url you will paste the url of the category (like somethingyourblog.com/category/secretary). Now you have associated a category with a page. Each time you will click on that page automatically the system will get you redirected to the category but your users will not understand that and it will look like you have posted something in a different page.

The next big step is to remove the post you want to make it visible only in the Secretaty’s Page from the home page.

Find the Advanced Category Excluder plug in add it and activate it. Do the appropriate settings in order to remove the posts from the category you associated with the page from the home page. Find the Secretary’s category id and exclude it.

I tried to make it simple cause it is complicated.
