Hi fronimitis
I’m sorry but I won’t be much help.
The way that I understand it, your hostname “mailpoet1._domainkey.ftina.eu.” already has the period at the end of the string, which is what my problem was.
I don’t have any suggestions for anything different to try.
The solution was that the host name information provided by Mailpoet was missing a period at the end of the name. I just had to add a single period to the end of each host name and the DNS records validated immediately. This problem as been solved for me.

In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] DNS VerificationMy service provider (Hetzner) required a period (.) at the end of the host name. The text provided by Mailpoet didn’t include that period, so when I was pasting it into the field, it wasn’t being verified. I just needed to add the period to the end of the string for the host name, and it worked perfectly.
Thanks for your message, but I don’t think that this is the solution for my problem, as my DNS records weren’t in the list i.e. I didn’t have records for the two CNAME and TXT entries required for Mailpoet in my provider’s list of DNS records. So there was no place for the entries to be added by the provider.
I had to create the entries, and all fields were blank when I created them.

In reply to: [MailPoet - Newsletters, Email Marketing, and Automation] DNS VerificationHi there. This sounds a lot like the problem I’m currently having. When you say you worked it out, can you give some details about how you did that?
Hi Cena
Thanks for your thoughtful response, and the link to the other issue. The request to have the Module page inserted when starting a new module is similar to what I was looking for. My use case is slightly different though.
I also want a summary of the module that shows up after the last lesson in the module. Since the introduction to the module, and the summary of the module would be different, I can’t use the same page.
I think that what I’ll do is:
- Create separate introduction and summary pages (outside of Sensei).
- Link to those pages from the last lesson page i.e. <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>Click here</span> for a summary of this module. <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>Click here</span> for an introduction to the next module.
It’s not ideal, and a bit cumbersome, but will be OK for now.
Thanks again.
Thanks for the response, Mark. Based on your suggestion, do you think the following might work?
The journal has a Zotero account (separate from my personal account) which contains the “master library”. Every time someone submits an article I could also them to submit a .bib file with their citations, which I can keep as a separate collection within the library.
