Esmi et al,

Good news! I got some advice from Justin on the Hybrid Theme forums. He said that there was some code in the last post that appeared on the home page and that was breaking everything that followed it.

I edited the post and took out all the code (have no clue where it came from) and voila! the sidebar now appears.

Okay, Esmi. Let me know if you have any other ideas, because it is now showing up if I deactivate Hybrid and Leviathan and activate another theme.

I’ve deactivated plugins, re-downloaded and reinstalled Hybrid and Leviathan, and updated WordPress from 3.0 to 3.01.

Thanks for your help thus far. Wish something would work. (Sigh)

Esmi – There isn’t a sidebar.php template. There are the following templates:

sidebar-after-content.php
sidebar-after-singular.php
sidebar-before-content.php
sidebar-primary.php
sidebar-secondary.php
sidebar-subsidiary.php

I now find that the sidebar is missing from the home page no matter what theme is activated.
