Hi Tara thank you for the fast response. I will make another post for contact form 7 under the correct support forum.

But adding on to this specific issue about not receiving notifications for comments:
although this website is having issues with both contact form 7, and comments, my other websites do receive emails from contact form 7, however still none from comments (from people other than admin). I’m assuming it wouldn’t have to do with my host provider since I can still receive from contact form 7.

I am thinking maybe I have something set up improperly, but i have my email under settings>general. And under users for the admin.

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? I deleted WP-super cache, i re-uploaded all the images using different names and i notice when i go to the web page it is still pulling the old images, but i deleted my cache and its still happening.

Also an important note, they arent all having this problem, only the new ones that I have uploaded. The ones that I had uploaded previously seem to still be working fine

actually would my best bet for this be to create a subfolder in my clients account put the new site there and then point their domain to that location and keep the old wordpress site where it is so I don’t mess up the databases?

Sorry last question, do any of you know if there is a way to edit or delete the URL i had posted earlier? its not the biggest deal but it would be better not to have the URL on a public forum.

Ahh thank you so much that is a huge help!! I used the Velvet blues update URLs which maybe could have cause the problem (thats also how I accidentally updated the GUIDs) but its good to know the URL is the issue here! Thanks so much!

Thanks Sabino, I will look into it, im not very concerned about how to reset the password because as of right now I do know the password, I am more so concerned with why its happening this way in the first place, but its good to know that if i ever do forget the password that there is another way to fix it ?? thanks for your help, ill start reading into the link you have sent now.

Believe me if I had any say on what to spend money on, it would be this, but sadly I think the only time we will be spending money will be if something goes horribly wrong :/ sad but true.

I also had accidentally updated my GUID links when I was changing to a new domain name. Do you think that could have anything to do with my this is happening? I had asked in previous forums what changing the GUID post links would do and no one responded but from what I have read about them I dont see how that could cause something like this to happen
