Yes, but that was a long time ago – my problem was after a new plugin installation, after renaming the plugins folder etc..
I’ve managed to fix the problem eventually:
I’ve added this code to my Theme’s functions file:
wp_set_password(‘password’,1);
& it works (deleted that row afterwards)

What did you find? I’m having kind of the same problem.. (already changed plugins folder name but nothing)

I now remember another thing – slick-social-share-buttons needed an update, It didn’t go well (got an error in wp admin dashboard). But I’ve deleted it from the plugins folder too

it was facebook-social-widgets. I installed it a long time ago, but activated it only yesterday.
I’ve activated it before with no trouble, but reactivated it. Now I’ve deleted it from the plugins folder as well. My plugins folder is empty. Is there something I can try and do?..

I now have the same problem after a new plugin installation. I renamed every plugin under the plugins folder, but I get an “access denied” if I try to change the plugins folder name.
I can’t login.. help? again? ??
