Our Give Core free plugin works with PayPal. For any other inquiries, please reach out via our contact form. We can definitely help accommodate you and your needs there. Please reference this support forum thread when you reach out.

Licensing assures you of add-on updates and priority support through our site. Discontinuing your subscription would stop you from receiving those, but shouldn’t stop your site from receiving donations (assuming that updates aren’t made to correct for third-party changes like payment gateway processing).

Of course, thousands of customers use our free plugin with PayPal standard, and the Give plugin itself will continue to receive the ability to update.

Absolutely! Give works with PayPal Standard without any add-ons at all. All you need is to have an active PayPal account and add your PayPal email address to Give’s settings.

It looks like you got it all straightened out, but for anyone else following along:

On your WordPress dashboard, go to Donations>Settings, then click the Payment Gateways tab. Just below the tabs, change “Test Mode” to disabled.
