Users can still edit their memberships number. That field should be locked. The problem we need the members to be able to submit events to event manager without prior approval. So the event will show in the private part without approval. There is a chance they will be indexed if I set the standard yoast permission to index events – because I cannot edit this all the time. So it would be very nice if there were a function where you could say noindex for events which were hold in a certain category.

I have made 2 main categories of events in Events Manager.

Offentlig (public). Every events which is placed in this category needs to be indexed.

Booking af lokaler (reservations of rooms) needs to be private and not indexed. Its for members only. Ive only linked to this from password protected part of my site. This site holds sensitive content.

I only have one possibility of indexing in the yoast SEO admin. This is the page for alle events, which isnt displayed on the website (ive deleted the links.) This category holds both the private and the public category.

When I open my Yoast SEO I only get the possibility to choose if I would like Arrangementer indexed. I do not get the possibility to choose if I want that arrangementer isnt indexed but Offentlig (public) is instead.

I am missing a function where I can choose specifically which event categories should be indexed – and if the entries in that specific category should be indexed.

Admin is editing and submitting the public events in dashboard. All public events should have this SEO setting

For private events (booking af lokaler) the registered users on the site selfsubmit these on the frontend webiste and they are approved immediately. But when I press one of them Yoast looks like this

Where Ive marked with blue I want every private event to say no – or nej in danish, so they are not indexed.

The only links to the private events are from pages protected by paid membership manager protection for not active members.

Due to the sensitive information, it would be a problem if yoast had the private events in their tree so that google will index them – also if people cannot access them. The page title and the text would be indexed as meta title and meta description and this would be a personal data breach.

Is it more clear now what I want to do?

Its the under category booking af lokaler where the entries is not allowed to be indexed. How can I choose all the entries of booking af lokaler to be no index?

and if the page is protected by a membership wall will Google index it?

Thank you so much, Ive entered the code in code snippets and changed this line so I thought the field medlemsnummer (member number) would not be writeable for member.

$readonly_fields = array( ‘medlemsnummer’ );

But it still is. Ive set it to read only – and the only ones who cant edit it is admins. ??

Have I made the changes correctly on the line?

I just need to understand correctly. I dont want an extra adress to be recorded – I just want the billing adress to be shown under dashboard -> the plugin – and the member profile. I would like the member to be able to correct the adress if they move when they login to the user.
