Thanks for your answer. In MacOX 10.13.6 latest update for my venerable iMac 27′, safari Version 13.1.2 (13609.3.5.1.5) was updated in 2020 and works for all WP themes with same type of menu/submenu themes.
As WP developer/contributor since more than 17 years (theme, plugin,…), it’s sad to see basic functions of the reference website of WordPress (.ORG) becoming obsolete…
I am sure that very few lines of code (JS ? CSS?) can be modified to improve again (old) users experience ! Will I have time to investigate further ?

Thanks for your return. This morning I test on a current public website WP 5.4.
An I see 5 errors in web inspector like :
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 414 ()
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 ()
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 414 ()
the URI contains URI of the post followed by audio/mpeg;base64, and lot of chars…

Hope that help you to debug…

After change, all is working well – thanks (oooh – your filename has a first uppercase letter !)
As plugin developer since 10 years, I just begin with sublime text to use phpcs with coding standards. It is a hard work ?? The code become more readable – What do you think of that ?

I am testing Metaslider 3.10.2 after an article posted in WPtavern. Seems to be a powerful plugin ! Congratulations
With WP 5.0-RC1-43946, impossible to find the metaslider block in post edit blocks. In the mean time, must use shortcode workaround ??

Some errors are visible in JS console when metaslider is active :
TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating ‘d.InspectorControls’)
editor-block-3-10.js: with number 151, 55, 28, 29 and more

this version cannot be use with domain mapping. Prefer Polylang plugin of Frédéric D.

Title widget are filterable by default. So if the translation is available in the corresponding mo file (of the plugin or core domain), the translation works.
So settings are settable to use theme domain…

More recent infos :
– about Gutenberg, these new features become more and more stable and w/o modifications the future version of xili-language is more and more compatible in editor side of posts. Be patient, we follow the gutenberg progress.

It is because Frédéric, polylang’s author has not set his taxonomy property ‘show_in_rest’ => true !

Try to contact him.

as his old brother xili-language since WP 2.3, polylang use taxonomy “language” to define the language of the post. So with rest-api, it is easy to search posts in a specific taxonomy.

xili-language is a tool and needs minimum knowledges in WP… as written in WP repository – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/xili-language/ (see other links inside…)
