In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Zippy.co.uk – Insecure linksHi Yoniseo,
Thanks for your comment!
Be assured: your website is as safe as ever. That link is only accessible for you, when logged in. So my guess is you get these warnings when logged in and visiting your own website, right?
If you logout of WordPress, visit the page again, the warnings have disappeared.
It’s just a link to a website that’s not on https yet. As soon as that tool becomes available in https, we’ll adjust the link!

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Images imported from URL not showing in sitemapHi Hayyann,
You can only rank for things that are on your website, on your URLs. If an image URL is someotherdomain.com/images/image.jpg, someotherdomain.com will be able to rank for it, you won’t. But that makes sense, doesn’t it? The single fact that you show it, does not mean you are the creator and should get credit from Google. Also: think about copyright. Our recommendation would always be: create unique content, use your own images.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Images imported from URL not showing in sitemapHi Hayyann,
Essentially, the insert by URL lets you hotlink to an image. I think this is what you have done, right? As the image is not in the media library, it is not “on your website”, yet you show an image hosted on another website. That also means that your website does not have an URL including your domain name for that image, hence it is not included in the sitemap. The image is in the sitemap of the website hosting the image (if that website has a sitemap, of course).
For it to be in your sitemap, it has to be on your website, not just hotlinked.
Does that explain it, Hayyann? Otherwise, please provide a screenshot of where you import/insert the image, ok?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] I recommend downgrade to Version 13.5Hi @solkyoshiro, thanks for asking. You can find all versions here https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wordpress-seo/advanced/
I saw you commenting on a number of issues. We are very sorry that our 14.x release caused you headaches. We messed up, although we did quite the outreach and testing. Luckily, we were able to push a number of patches addressing several issues fast after the release. Lessons learned on our side.
But please keep your comments constructive like this one. Thanks for this one, as that helps you and others, appreciated! That way we can help everyone asap. Thanks in advance!
And again, sorry for any inconvenience caused by our release!

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] An error occurred loading the Yoast SEO primary taxonomy picker. Is that also the time you updated the plugin? These things don’t happen suddenly. Otherwise, you could rollback to version 13.5 and see if that fixes it for now.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] An error occurred loading the Yoast SEO primary taxonomy picker.Hm, that makes it sound very website specific. I will ask my colleagues to see if any of them encountered this.
Luckily, your website is running. We’ll have to get back to you on this! Thanks for your patience.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] An error occurred loading the Yoast SEO primary taxonomy picker.Ok, thanks for your reply, Ironynews!
There are two options: if you are using the block editor, you might find our meta box in the top right of your Edit page, just click the Yoast Icon there.
If that’s not it, it might be a plugin conflict, it might be unique to your WordPress installation. If everything is updated on your site, including your theme and other plugins, could you please perform a conflict check following the steps here: https://yoast.com/help/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts/
Let us know, so we can see if there is something we can do, or should be done by the other plugin, for instance, ok?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] recurring indexationHi both!
We’re sorry for this – you probably have a lot of objects.
It might be easier to use CLI here:
https://developer.yoast.com/blog/yoast-seo-wp-cli-index-command/If that doesn’t work for you, feel free to dismiss the notification altogether. Your site will index automatically over time as your pages get visited. You can run the index in a couple of weeks time to cover the objects that don’t get any traffic.
Hi Catboulin,
Sorry for the inconvenience! Does this tie in with a previous issue you reported? Could you please reply on that issue, so we can keep track of what is happening with your site?
Thanks!
