with audio/video enclosures i’m assuming you’d like to embed them into your posts??? There are plenty of plugins availabe out there… I use vPip and theres WP ExtremeVideo for vids… i don’t enclose audio (plugins available though) but if its your own stuf upload them in the write post upload box and then include it as a link in you post .

look at another theme and identify the position it is in… back up your theme and add it yourself along with your code. Trial and error…

check if you have a .htaccess in your wp root folder… and while your at it is it writable by the server. if everything seems ok with it, rename it (unless you’ve edited and added your own stuff in it) and reapply your permalinks!!

you may have to do your own sql query for this and save it into a parmeter.. then use that parameter and feed it into the hooks. that way you don’t have to bother about the actual url the user is on. I see a lot of plugins going that way to select and order data.

Have you created the database yet? This need to be set up first! If so, then many webhosts would add a prefix to the database name you set. Ie:

Your set dbname = mywpdb
Server creates is as useraccountname_mywpdb

Cool… I guess that if you could settle for category you’d all be set.. Ie. all your posts in the category “Bio” would then show up on bio.singer.com… I guess bio don’t change to much (except the weight ?? but discography for example… every post about an album would have the album name as title and “discography” as category – result would be when you enter discography.singer.com you would then see all the albums on that page. Lyrics would be the same etc etc!! Good luck! (alternatively, you may be able to hack Skippy’s plugin to go for post-slug instead ??

so you are saying that you don’t want the categories to be the subdomain but you want the post-slug to be the subdomain.

(post-slug is the alternate version of the title of a post)
