Hi @jawada Thank you for your response. No I didn’t. I don’t use Woo commerce. The solution was to update the WordPress Core and and also the Paypal plugin.
Your great plugin has nothing wrong.
I continue to use it for 4 websites ??

Hi the team,
Thank you to give me the solution to Activate the Paypal Smart Checkout. This is the only solution when you have not the possibility to change your old theme that doesn’t match with the PHP8.1. For me it’s a way to work with the old PHP7.4.
Of course the best is to change the old themes and work with PHP 8.1.

I have no more notification ERROR.
But if I try without Paypal Smart Checkout there’s still “PAYPAL Things don’t appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later.” displaying.
So we use now with !

I try today :
– desactivate the other plugins,
– change the theme by 2023,
– try to change the PHP version 7.4 to 8.1 but the theme it’s not working with it.
I think that the problem is the obsolete PHP 7.4
For the moment we can’t change this version to the new because we have to change the theme, but we will in a few time.

I have try your solution : it works !

But if I Disable Standard Paypal Checkout I get an error:
plugins/wordpress-simple-paypal-shopping-cart/includes/admin/wp_shopping_cart_menu_email_settings.php page 26 & 27.
The system is still working but with 2 payment buttons.
Anyway we can go like this !
