If anyone else has this problem and isn’t tech savvy enough to edit this and debug that and change this ? to that / …… ??
Try this:
Using FileZilla or other ftp, rename jetpack plugin folder to “broken” or what ever takes your fancy.
Now login to your website/blog and go to Installed plugins – DO NOT CLICK ON UPDATE PLUGIN – for some reason this crashed my site EVERY.SINGLE.TIME!!!
Click on the “More info about update” and then click on update plugin from that popup info box.
Somehow this seemed to update Jetpack without crashing my site and throwing white screens of death and fatal error messages at me!
Yea, possibly could have fixed this with some edit this, delete that or some other Marsian language but I don’t “do code” :/
