In reply to: [Star CloudPRNT for WooCommerce] Printer IntegrationI have a new restaurant also and there are many plugins and features to help make Woocommerce present your business online.
But if you want to take orders from your website then let me tell you; getting this printer to print tickets from WC is the most important part of it!
So focus on this part first before investing in any paid plugins. Once your printer is up and running you can then test it with various WC addons/plugins.
This week I finally connected the printer to WC but I’m still having an issue where it does not print immediately. I had a customer come in to pickup their order but we did not know about it and he had to wait 20 more minutes. The ticket printed an hour later!
I unchecked Additional Order Fields and that fixed the printout of unnecessary info and it still printed the custom fields which is fantastic!
Now the only issue is the timing. The order seems to sit in queue until the printer is triggered by my POS system. I would like it to print from WC as soon as the order is placed.
Thank you. If you could please let me know on this forum thread when you publish the new plugin to the wp repository would be great as I will forget to go looking for it and I would like to receive regular plugin updates.
So installed the sample version and it looks better. First thing I noticed is that it just printed a test order I created yesterday using the respository version.
Next I tried a new order with custom fields from a free plugin. The good thing is that I saw it in the queue. But it did not print immediately. It wasn’t until I sent another order to the printer from my in store POS that the order from WC also printed. And when it did print it was absolutely huge and printed all kinds information which im assuming is metadata. But it was just way too much info. All I want to print is the item and the custom field stuff. Please if you could help me along with this issue to get it printing just right would be great as it is just so important to my restaurant right now, everyone wants to place orders online.

In reply to: [Store Hours for WooCommerce] Mid Day BreakOption 2, I did not even notice that little plus sign before. Thank you!
They have not responded on the other thread.
Im trying to run a pizza shop with woocommerce and your plugin for the pizza toppings. The app is the only way I can get notified about orders from the website, I have a tablet setup and it makes a notification sound when an order is placed. But without being able to see the custom fields I can’t rely on Woocommerce at all. Do you have any other suggestions to get notified about these custom pizza orders to the store?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Order item meta in WooCommerce mobile app+1 I also like to know
The order item meta is also displayed nicely in the order emails but not in the WC app.
And yes,I can confirm the issue is with the iOS app as well as Android.
Thank you, I will.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Is SKU the same as Model Number?@aashik Thanks for your response. I considered using attributes for model numbers but I thought attributes were better suited to something that can be repeated across products, while model numbers are unique to each product. If I have 100 products with different model numbers than I would need to create a list of 100 attribute values that cannot be re-used for any other purpose.
At the beginning of the link you sent me on attributes it says “A third and important way to group products is to use attributes”. Which makes sense to me, an attribute that can be applied to more than one product and then can be filtered. If I used attributes for model numbers than there would be no grouping or need for filtering since each model number is unique.
Let’s say im opening a store called Apple and selling computers, each with their own unique model number and with new models coming out every year. Would you recommend to Apple to use the attributes field to display model number?

@neotropic2023 Hi, since you are a developer would you mind looking at their GitHub project to help fix some outstanding issues? The wp-property developers seem to have walked away from the project and left it up to the community to fix. I wish I knew how to make the fixes myself but I’m not a developer.
I tried that also but it still does not work. I had a close look at the RETS data and I think the problem is that the “Rtlr” field is not searchable or have a list of values.
Is there another way to do it using Matches?
Is it possible to import all the properties as drafts so that I can publish only the ones I want?

In reply to: [WP-Property - WordPress Powered Real Estate and Property Management] Labels? That’s a good idea, I could use more label options too. I guess that would be something that could be added to a theme or maybe customize the property-overview.php template?
Where is the Favourites & Compare option? That would be great!
That’s too bad. How much would it cost to build that field?
Im pretty sure most users would make good use of a keyword search, maybe you should consider integrating it or making it a paid upgrade so everyone can use it.
I solved the problem by just running the import a few more times. Im not sure why it did not show initially.
@kimball31 Yes, the default method will schedule the import from the time you save it which isn’t always ideal because of the server load it can cause during the day.
Uncheck the Schedule Enabled option and use the cPanel method by adding the cron command to cpanel and you can have it run exactly when you want. Also, I found that if the imports are larger than 1000 properties each then it really bogs down the server, I was getting shut down by my host each time. So I separated the Import Schedules into smaller batches and created a cron job for each one in cpanel.
For example:
create a schedule for each area
or
create one schedule for For Sale and another schedule for For Lease
