It’s happening for me too since the upgrade to 4.8. Mine happens every once in a while but not all the time. Clearing my cookies lets the site load for me also. I was afraid that all my site visitors were seeing this error but it sounds like it affects those who specifically log in (some of our customers do). This has been driving me nuts. I’m glad I found this thread. Thanks!

I’m just using one rule set up for one category set up the normal way. I’m not using steps.The developer will need to assist you with your particular issue as I am not qualified to troubleshoot this for you. I still require assistance for my own issue. Sorry.
Yes, as far as I can tell, the only issue I see is that the display of the rule isn’t appearing correctly on the individual product pages in the backend. The plugin appears to be functioning correctly otherwise. I set up the rule in the Quantity Rules section (in the left admin menu) and chose the specific category. Even though it appears to be working on the front end, the reason I reported this is because it doesn’t appear that the rule being repeated over and over again is the intended behavior.

In reply to: [footnotes] QTag not defined error when trying to make a backupI am seeing the same exact thing. If I deactivate Footnotes, then the BackupBuddy error disappears but reappears when Footnotes is reactivated. The same code is being flagged in the Chrome debug console for me as well.

Yes, you’re right. It turns out that the WooTax plugin that adds the TIC field is conflicting with the Variation Description field. As soon as I disabled the WooTax plugin, the Variation Description field appeared.
