Since v2 “I’m not a robot” doesn’t work, I have activated it again with v3 this time which is invisible, but I assume it’s operational behind the scenes.

I didn’t do it via FTP. I just pasted the code into the plugin editor in the WordPress dashboard. Maybe I should just totally uninstall the plugin and them re-install it using the plugin install that WordPress.com uses rather than trying to do it from a zip file. Perhaps a fresh install might be worth trying?

Ok at the moment in my Plugin manager it shows that I have version 3.3 installed. But in the plugin editor it still shows the 3.2 php file that you sent me in your first reply. And actually when I updated to 3.3 last night it showed an “update failed” message in red. Yet it still shows I have the latest 3.3 version installed. Is there a new php code that I can paste manually into the editor and see if that works? I haven’t deleted the plugin, it’s just deactivated at the moment.
I don’t want to change the website theme. Even though it’s old, it still works quite well and I don’t want to risk breaking things if I do a theme change.

As soon as I deactivate Recaptcha the button works again. When hovering over it with the mouse the pointer turns into a hand. But when recaptcha is enabled the mouse remains as a pointer, so you can’t click the button.

The button can not be clicked. If you hover over the button and try to click it. it does nothing- like there’s no button there.

I just tried that. It still didn’t work. Same problem withtwo different browsers. So I deactivated it again

I deactivated it and it is working now.

So now my users can log back in again ( which is a relief).

I really don’t know what to do here. The registration page is still as it was, but I have 400 people registered in a forum that now can’t log into. They are not all registered to WordPress, they were registered to our site. The longer this is broken the more chance that they won’t comeback ??

I just updated it to the latest version and now instead of being able to log into the website as a general user when you click on the login link, it now takes someone to a login to WordPress page instead of logging into the website. This mucking up of the website is costing me time I am having to deal with users emailing who can’t log in!

OK well I might wait for the fix and the update rather than deleting an installing an old version. I hope you can fix it quickly then..meanwhile I will just deal with the emails from those who can’t log in I think.

Will deleting it and installing the old one again muck up any settings?

Yes I am hosted on WordPress.com. It used to be there was a math equation on the same page as the log in but when someone tries to log in the math question appears on anew page but when you answer it it just redirects back to the login page and doesn’t log you in. I am getting emails from people trying to log in and it’s the same for everyone. I don’t know what to do? Is it a problem with Your plugin or is it something i need to contact WP support for?
