Just wanted to update. I installed version 4.7 beta on my site. It seems to have fixed the issue with Event Espresso and the core functionality of the plugin seems to be unaffected. My pages that are using the plugin still look good and the data displays correctly. Everything looks great from my end.

    Thanks for your help.

Thank you for your reply. I will forward your comments to the folks at EE to see what they say.
To Answer your questions, My timezone is set to America/Chicago in WP settings.

This is what I show from the Plug In page advanced settings

    Your php version is: 5.4.23
Your timezone db version is: 2013.8
Php timezonedb versions Info on what changes are in which timezonedb version
The plugin thinks your timezone is: America/Chicago Go to settings
The current UTC offset for that timezone is: -5
Switches to standard time on 02 Nov 2014 @ 01:00. GMT offset: -6
    Current time (unlocalised): Wed, 18 Jun 2014 17:35:22 -0500

    Choose date localisation method:?

    none – Wed, 18 Jun 2014 17:35:22 -0500
    amr – Wed, 18 Jun 2014 17:35:22 -0500
    wp – Wed, 18 Jun 2014 17:35:22 -0500
    wpgmt – Wed, 18 Jun 2014 22:35:22 +0000

I looked at this section when it was 5:35 central standard time. Would all of that look as you would expect it to look?

Regarding the EE settings, there was talk in their forums on TZ settings, but I did not see those settings in the version that I am running. (it’s a newer version).

    Just a few questions…
When you say the plugin sets the default tz for the pages, would that apply to mgmt pages as well? (forgive me if the questions are dumb, I do not have a development bkground)

If so, is there any way to selectively disable this as a potential workaround until a final root cause is determined and fixed, without any harm to the plugin functionality (all my traffic, calendar stuff, etc will be in central time as we are a small local club)

Finally, would you mind keeping the issue open so I can bounce questions back and forth between the EE folks and yourself?

Thank you for your time, it is appreciated.
