Thank you so, so much, Paul! That worked and it’s such a relief since I’ve been trying to figure this out all day. But unfortunately I am a web design noob (and especially a WordPress noob) and have no idea what the rest of what you said means, haha ??

It looks like the menu items got closer, but not close enough. Is there any way to make them sit right against each other?

That is odd, I am looking at it now and it says:

“Templates
This child theme inherits templates from a parent theme, Twenty Twelve.”

Oh yeah, I am using a child theme — not editing the Twenty Twelve theme. Don’t worry ??
