In reply to: [Virtue] Dropdown menu hidden behind embedded videoProblem solved for Opera (and any other browser that might have this problem) by adding “&wmode=opaque” to the iframe src attribute of any embedded youtube video.
This will help also if your lightbox images get hidden behind the iframe.

In reply to: [Virtue] Dropdown menu hidden behind embedded videoTested meanwhile on different OS/browser combinations (incl. the latest IE10 on Win8Pro). Only Opera (v17) has this problem, hence irrelevant for me and “solved”. Thanks.

In reply to: [Virtue] Dropdown menu hidden behind embedded videoBTW, you’ll see the first menu item has 6 elements. The 6th won’t show in Opera as it is under the youtube video. In Firefox it is over the youtube video.

In reply to: [Virtue] Dropdown menu hidden behind embedded videoI just went to the site again to copy-paste you the URL when all of a sudden… it works! Guess what. I tried it this time in my default browser (Firefox 25.0) and it works fine. The dropdown menu is over the youtube video, as it should be. I did try it with Opera 17.0 before (my secondary browser, where I am logged in with another user into my WP site) and it doesn’t work there. So it seems to be an Opera issue.
Anyway, here is the link (as bitly to not spam the forum):

In reply to: [Point] footer code box missing in general settingsThank you!
Above mentioned was for version 3.61 of the plugin. I have updated to the latest 3.63 and the problem persists.
WP version is still 3.6.1.
To exclude that the combination of this plugin with my theme is what makes the problem, I’ve switched temporarily to the default Twenty Thirteen theme and it’s the same. 1s load time with plugin disabled vs. 5s load time with the plugin enabled, for each and every page.
@earwolf: It is the last option, below “Keyboard shortcuts”. Running Version 1.2.3 of the Responsive Lightbox.
I am using Simple Facebook Plugin to embedd the FB stream of a page in the sidebar (it has also a like button that is permanently displayed and works).
This one:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/simple-facebook-plugin/I wasn’t aware that the social function in this lightbox plugin depends on a separate social plugin. Especially since a twitter buton is shown in the lightbox and I haven’t installed any twitter plugin.
BTW, I am using the Virtue theme. It comes with a “Virtue Toolkit” that has a “Virtue: Social Links” widget. But I am not using this “Virtue: Social Links” widget (because it can display only icons, no stream), just the one mentioned above (SFP).

In reply to: [Point] footer code box missing in general settingsThanks, Andrew. On the twenty thirteen theme I have inserted the GA code with add_action(‘wp_footer’ in the functions.php of a child. But I don’t know if the Point theme will work with a child too (I read that “complicated” themes which have built-in customize menus can crash your site badly when you make and activate a child of them), so I thought using that Footer Code box would be very convenient and risk-free until I find out if the Point theme can work with childs too.
