I managed to fix the issue, so I will put what I did here in case anyone else needs to know:
- On my WordPress.com user page, I found an error that Jetpack couldn’t speak to my site because Rest API was disabled. I had turned Rest API off. So, I turned it back on.
- As I guessed, my site was connected to another account. I was able to complete the sign-up after turning Rest API back on.
- I then disconnected it from my WordPress.com user account.
- (I probably didn’t need to do this, but) I deactivated Jetpack and then reactivated it again.
- When I went back in, I was able to sign up with the correct account.
- I changed the settings that I wanted.
- I then turned Rest API back off.

In reply to: [GenerateBlocks] This plugin is not GeneratePress BlocksHonestly, I’m not sure what to say. I don’t understand how you can’t see how naming something the same could be confusing to people.
To answer your question about the documentation, look at your FAQs:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/generateblocks/
FAQ
How do I add your blocks to my page?
Create a new page or post
Add a new block, and look for the “GenerateBlocks” category
Choose your block and start building.
It’s always best to start with a Container block. This was the information that I was looking for, which I eventually found.
Originally when I couldn’t figure out how to add a block, I went here:
https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/headline-overview/
This page does not show me where to add a block, e.g. “How do I add your blocks to my page?”
I know this may seem obvious to you, and now that I realize what happened, I understand the documentation and my confusion. But I have the same general complaint about your documentation across all of your plugins. It’s not the worst, but a lot of times you miss the very obvious things that your end user needs. This has not been the first time I’ve been frustrated.
IMHO, just add a “How Do I Add A Block?” under the General tab in the documentation.
And then add a link on the GenerateBlocks Dashboard right next to the “Learn More” button. An easy fix.Hello,
So I have a few things here:
(1) The drop down menu does not show “Facebook” when adding a post. I am using Chrome, the latest WordPress, and the latest PHP releases.
(2) Buffer has a feature where you can schedule a post for each network at the same time. Idk how other people work, but I generally have the same post for all of the social networks, and then I tweak them with different hashtags (and character counts).
(3) For the bulk upload feature I was originally speaking about, I was referring to a file upload from a CSV.
(4) If you rather email, let me know. I can contact you through your contact form on your website.
Thank you so much! Yes, I totally missed that. For another feature, I would request a bulk upload. ??

In reply to: [Image SEO - AI-Driven Image SEO Optimizer] Don’t botherI stand behind my comment. This plugin is not even worth the time to install it.
For anyone who wishes to do everything that this plugin does, without any cost whatsoever, should download the Media Library Assistant plugin, the follow these instructions for the Insert Fixit Tools:
With Media Library Assistant, you can bulk change anything about your images. With the Insert Fixit Tool, you can bulk change any post or page to add alt tags or data pin descriptions, among other things.
The added bonus is that the creator of the Media Library Assistant doesn’t make snarky replies to his negative comments. Dude, if 25% of your reviews are 1 or 2 stars, you got a problem.
