Support admin at webhosting provider suggested for me to try different engine by adding ENGINE=MyISAM to end of the above CREATE TABLE command; that looks like it worked, and plug-in seems to be working now as expected, thanks.

Yup, same here — thanks photoMaldives your posted fix allowed my v3.6.1 to v3.7 update to complete. I tried similar edits to CAPABILITIES.PHP as described elsewhere, but to no avail; yours worked.

I’ve gone back to the work-around, so the example link in the immediately preceding post will no longer display the items in question.

I continue to try and use this plug-in’s generated Open Graph tags, but keep getting same result…
Can anyone explain why this Facebook post displays Author and Tags when I want it to simply display Description in their place…?

Just fyi, same blank screen issue after 3.0.4 update (the 2 previous updates installed without issue). Deactivating all plug-ins allowed a successful install of 3.0.4 and a reactivation of all plug-ins.

OK, thanks. I updated to 3.0.1, and had the same experience of blank screen afterwards, unable to do anything. I happened to have site admin also open on another machine, which, after I returned to it, functioned normally and reflected the 3.0.1 update, just fyi…

After deactivating all plug-ins except Plugin Organizer v2.6.3, I was then able to successfully update, through the WP admin, to Plugin Organizer v3.0, and then successfully reactivate all other plug-ins without issue.

I did have some URLs entered in the previous version; did this update account for them?

When I again try to update to 3.0, through the WP admin panel, I first get the screen that says update successful (something like that), but with my very next click to go anywhere else in admin, I get blank white screen again, and can do nothing else…

Do you mean in error_log in the wp root folder? No, doesn’t look like it

After activating the 3.0 version of the plug-in, I just get a blank screen, cannot do anything.

I upgraded to WP 3.5.2 this morning before trying to upgrade Plug-in Organizer. I’ve tried all the ideas here and other thread several times, no luck yet.

At the moment, my work-around is to simply comment out line 298 in
wp-content/plugins/facebook/facebook.php

// add_action( 'wp_head', array( 'Facebook_Open_Graph_Protocol', 'add_og_protocol' ) );

…and instead use the plug-in WP Facebook Open Graph protocol

Here is another example: a screenshot of News Feed, where I published a test post to both my FB Profile and one of my FB Pages…

…you can see that the one published to the FB Page displays in News Feed as expected, with the Description… but the one published to my FB Profile shows Author, Tags, Category, but no Description

Niall, what did you mean in your comment above, that “I don’t see continuous text in your blog post matching the description: you place the section title of “Blog” before the post and tags after the post.” ? I’m not following that…

Anyone know what’s going on here?
