After removal of the spam flag we found that some people were still reporting issues. However, after further testing across multiple installations of WordPress + Subscribe2, we found that changing the setting “Restrict the number of recipients per email to (0 for unlimited):” to 1 instead of 0 corrected the issue for instances that had still not functioned properly. Because there are many variables to WordPress and 3rd party plug-ins this workaround may not work in all cases.

The list of subscribers would allow us to check the logs at the time you send that test email for each message that is supposed to send and check why each is failing. Let me check with our admins in the morning and see if I there is another way to check the logs.

Could you provide your domain name(s) and the times you last sent emails that were not received?

@amy, If you are needing that level of email support you can look at a Virtual Dedicated or Dedicated server. Servers start with a limit of 1000 emails per day but that can be increased incrementally (unlike shared hosting) as needed as long as you can show you are not sending SPAM.

@amy, I can understand being concerned about consistency. I will keep looking into this as more information is gathered until we have your emails consistently sending properly.

Are the comment notification emails working now as well as the Subscribe2 emails or are only the Subscribe2 emails working currently? If not, when was the last comment email that should have sent but did not?

As far as limits go, the one you will need to keep in mind is that in a day you can only send 1000 emails from your hosting account.

@mattyrob, Alon pointed me to this thread and the other you provided about the Subscribe2 plugin issue. I have begun investigating what it is in the emails sent using Subscribe2 that are running afoul and are not sending properly. I wanted to let you know that Go Daddy is looking into this issue!

@amygutman, I would like to know a little bit more about this issue with Subscribe2 and when you last sent out a mailing that was not received. I sent you an email yesterday to which I hope you can reply so we may proceed with the investigation.
