Yes, this is not possible exactly what you are looking for.

However, with the URL Shortify PRO, you can give different access roles to different user. Like you can give create links access to editors or any custom role. They can create and manage their own links. Role with Manage Links option can only manage links created by others.

Please check if that works for you.

We will see how can introduce more granular access.

It seems generated short URL is attached to any Posts, Pages or Custom Post types. If so, you can’t chang the target/destination URL.

If you want to use the same slug, you can delete this generated short URL and create a new short URL with the same slug.

Unfortunately, we do not have a export settings option at this moment.

But, if you are moving the site along with the database, your settings will be preserved as it is once you install and activate the plugin on the new site.

You can use Tracking Pixel feature of URL Shortify PRO using which you can set Meta / Google Pixel to links.

You need to select the Redirection Type as Pixel while creating a short URL.

We suspect that you haven’t set the settings correctly to make sure it replaces the tags.

Could you please confirm that you have selected posts, pages (or whatever custom post types are using) in the URL Shortify > Settings > Display > Auto Create Short URL Tag? option. (see attachment)

If that is selected, it should be display short url instead of tag.

If not selected, please select and save the settings and check once again.

Please check and confirm.

get_the_shorturl() method is useful for generating a short url of a current post, page.

You can place this method in theme’s function.php and it will create a short url of a current post, page & custom post types.

We have checked on Heymeta as well and it’s generating preview.

For WhatsApp, even we face the similar issues. Sometimes it generates preview and sometime it doesn’t generate the previews for the same link.

So, we believe that it’s a temporary issue with.
