open_basedir is a php.ini setting limiting the files PHP can open to certain paths.

So, if you have set it up, either set the correct path there or do not define it.

URL Shortify plugin is compatible with most of the plugins & themes. And we try to make it compatible with each & every plugins & theme out there.

We have checked on your WordPress site and found that a normal site takes approximately 5.25 seconds (Google Chrome Incognito) to load.

We also found that there are multiple redirections happened when you use the shortlinks. Do you have set up multiple redirections?

Ideally, shared hosting should not create any issue with this.

The plugin works fine and short links should take the same time to load as your site takes.

There is a provision to completly disable automatic generation of short links for specific custom post types in URL Shortify PRO

Alternatively, you can also uncheck the “Generate Short Link” checkbox for a specific page, post. When you uncheck it, it won’t generate a short link on post/ page publish.
