Thanks @weblizar. Update fixed everything. Sorry I was a bit aggressive but the theme is freaking awesome and I was just frustrated it wasn’t working. Now that it is I am one happy dude and will recommend the theme to friends.

@weblizar this fix you keep referring to doesn’t work. If you were on 1.7 version and had a blog this will completely screw up your site. my site is https://www.headwindcycling.com. Go there and check out the blog. It isn’t showing up on version 1.8. The Refer this fix fof the Home Page problem is great for the home page but it causes the blog to disappear. This is extremely frustrating and especially because you are the author of the theme and haven’t figured this out yet.

Plainly put if you upgraded to 1.8 version your home page got screwed up. If you use the fix you keep referring to it removes your blog (if you had one in 1.7). Do you understand the problem? I haven’t seen you address this yet.

This isn’t fixed. Still having the blog issues when you make the changes weblizar suggests. When will this be fixed?

no re-install needed. you will need to insert your google analytics code (if you use it) again.

Wait. I figured it out. Seems to be working now.

I did that @karenkramer and the blog still isn’t showing up correctly. At this point I am just fed up.

I think weblizar threw in the towel and quit on this one. looks like I am forced to change themes. I really like this one so it’s too bad.

This fixed the Home page issue but now the blog is gone.

changed it to your latest post and this fixes it. It’s weird why that would change from static front page without any notice.

There is defiantly something going on with the theme. Most likely it’s due to the 1.8 version being rolled out a few days ago. My site is all messed up and not showing the correct home page.

There seemed to be an update to the theme and a bug has caused issues with the home page. I checked my site today and it’s not showing the homepage with the sliding images and the portfolio options like it was the other day. I have tried to do your theme-options-> General Settings and it doesn’t work. It keeps showing another page that I didn’t even know existed.
