if you go into the theme editor and look at the header.php, you’ll probably see something like this:

< div id="topbanner"><a href="https://www.greenr3.com"><img src="<?php bloginfo('template_directory'); ?>/images/728.gif" alt="ads" width="728" height="90" / > < /a > < /div >

the < a href = " INSERT WEBSITE HERE "><img src=">? IMAGE GRAPHIC > etc. etc. etc.

that help?

I tried pulling it down by a 5-10-20 pixels and all it did was cut the box out.
I think that it’s a wrap-box class in the CSS.
perhaps if I made the center thinner?

can I then have teh categories reside under the pages? or what use is the pages if I can’t post under it?

my plan… is to have pages for various tech gadgets and be able to write posts under each one of those pages.

I saved it.. I wrote all the content in one night while high on crazy imported drugs.

though I really liked playing 2.5.1. while I had it installed.. it just struck me as odd that it happened to three sites all at once… unless it’s an issue with my host.

ah well, nothing that can’t be fixed.. or replaced.

who said that this was an upgrade? And why are 3 of my other domains (also 2.5.1) where the wp-config.php file WASN’T trashed doing the same thing??

This was a brand new install on a fresh domain.

I only did one upgrade and I did follow it to a “T”… it worked for about 2 weeks before crashing.

I own over 50 of them.. and like to play around.

so is this a glitch with wordpress?

That’s wordpress? very impressive. I thought that it was a CMS with the drop down menus and such.
as for the questions..
i didn’t pay that much attention to it, just a quick overview.

but if i was into meditation.. I’d spend longer on it.

I thought that it was a little cluttered but the content was really interesting.
perhaps if you created more pages that were less cluttered.
IF there were pages, then I missed them completely.

i changed the user name to what it was as well as the password (I had all this written down)

I took a snapshot of one of my other wp-config.php files and made mine as similar as possible but with teh correct usre / password / prefix_
