@webzunft Hi Thomas, you are correct, I’m not using Advanced Ads plugin, but still hoping your expertise can help me. ??

I’m a novice on dev console… I didn’t even know to look there for errors until you suggested it. I think this is the culprit:

Error : Adcode values too long onejs?MarketPlace=US&adInstanceId=b9ae946f-a53e-4c05-9e75-a8b392cabfa4:1
    D.<computed> @ onejs?MarketPlace=US…9e75-a8b392cabfa4:1
    (anonymous) @ getad?src=308&c=100&…allback_adunit0_1:1

The code ending in “fa4” is the one not displaying, but I don’t know what the error means for how to fix. The other code that’s Recommended Strip style and display fine looks nearly identical with just different InstanceID. I tried chatting with Amazon folks and they weren’t very helpful.

Any ideas or direction is appreciated. To me, it just seems like something needs to be reset, but not sure if it’s with Amazon or my website or Google Chrome. It doesn’t work on Edge either, so browser is unlikely the problem. My hunch is it’s on Amazon’s end, but I don’t know how to TEACH them how to fix their problem.

@webzunft Thomas, I had Amazon Recommended Grid ad working fine, then I unknowingly “broke” it using the flag feature. (I thought the purpose of the flag feature was to mark certain products as not relevant so the ad would remove and replace with another product, but apparently that’s not the purpose.) Anyway, after using flag to click not relevant a couple times, the ad stopped working completely. I have a Recommended Strip ad that still works, but even creating a new Recommended Grid ad does not work at all. (does not display anything) I’m guessing something needs to be “reset” for Recommeneded Grid ad to function again. Any ideas?

    Any help is much appreciated!

Same problem here, Coverage error: Submitted URL marked ‘noindex’

I verified all pages and posts are not checked to “noindex”. I unchecked “Include sitemap in HTML format” in Google Sitemap xml plugin and Console still gives coverage error.

@andrewarthurdawson I think you are right…Jetpack seems to be the culprit for everyone except @sean-h. I use Bluehost.

@sean-h I use WP Super Cache and still same problem even if I deactivate it.

    Thanks for the reply guys!

Like tombrehm, I was able to get Site Health to complete after deactivating Jetpack by WordPress.com. However, it was working fine a few days ago with Jetpack active, so not sure what changed…?

I need Jetpack for Akismet, Vault, and Social Sharing, so need to keep it activated. I hope it’s not hurting anything to keep it running…? (other than inability to complete Site Health)

If you discover any new information, please pass on. Thanks!

You are correct. Sorry for the panicked email. It was just strange how when clicking “manage subscriptions” it showed only that email addresses subscriptions, yet clicking “one click unsubscribe” it showed all addresses.

Thanks again for the code to reorder comment elements!

    WPKube:

    That worked!! Prefect! Thanks!

The bad news is I detected a major PRIVACY breach:

Upon receiving a “There is a new comment…” email, when you click on “One click unsubscribe” in the email it takes you to the “Manage subscriptions” page whereby it displays ALL SUBSCRIBERS’ EMAIL ADDRESSES! I even uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin thinking maybe mine got contaminated somehow, and it still displays all email addresses. Further testing, I created a fake email address and manually added new subscription inside the StCR plugin, and it still displayed all addresses (including the fake one) when ANY subscriber clicks “One click unsubscribe”.

Needless to say this needs immediate attention as I would assume this breach applies to everyone using the plugin. Please investigate and let me know what you discover. Thank you.

    Lap,

No, there were no other errors. I changed to “log everything” and saved.

The “permanently delete” bug is troublesome.

Yeah, it was as if Subscribe to Comments Reloaded plugin knew all my different addresses were me (via same IP address??) and it shouldn’t know that!

Thanks for the tip with gmail addresses! I don’t have gmail, but perhaps I should make one.

It finally worked!! However, please continue reading. I tried this morning with never before used address on normally used Chrome browser, and it did NOT work. In order to get it to work, had to go to never used Edge browser and sign up with same address, and it worked. So apparently there are multiple reasons it may not work:

    1) If you previously “permanently delete” an address from Mailchimp. However, I have proven this for sure is not a Mailchimp issue because I have permanently deleted multiple addresses and re-signed up multiple times using Genesis eNews Extended widget (my main sign-up form) with no problems.

    2) If you try signing up with different addresses on same browser (incognito) it must not like that perhaps due to cookie confusion…? It also did this with another plugin (Subscription to Comments Reloaded) whereby upon clicking “manage subscriptions” it pulled up ALL email addresses I used. Email addresses should obviously be independent of each other. That kinda scared me…as I had thoughts of random subscriber seeing other peoples’ comment subscriptions. Hoping it’s just a cookie issue…?

    3) It may also not work if a comment initially goes to spam and later gets approved. Haven’t proven that 100%. I’m running out of email addresses!

Needless to say, both plugins have robustness issues. Thanks for taking the time to review this email. Hope all my “testing” is helpful.

    Hi Harish,

Below is one of the errors. There were about 5 total that all appear to be the same. Through various testing processes I have “permanently deleted” my own addresses and then re-signed up multiple times. Not sure why that would be a problem?? Just this morning I tried with a new email address I haven’t used before and it still didn’t work. It also didn’t give error message…messages seem to be delayed for some reason…my sign up attempt was several hours ago. It initially when to spam folder which I subsequently removed from span and approved the comment. Still no luck.

    Hi WPKube,

    Thanks for your reply.

Link to my website and post: https://cashflowplayground.com/coming-soon/

I would like the “Replies to my comments” box be the first element after the comment, name, email, website fields…before the “save my name…” checkbox and before RECAPTCHA and MC4WP plugins.

Another issue after I wrote the original forum post:

The “Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.” text is not inline with the checkbox. Anyway to line them up?

Thanks for helping to resolve the issues.
