In reply to: My Website has disappeared!Hi Barry, if you do contact your webhost I would ask them what error is in the error_log. The site is indeed throwing a 500 error.
Hey @reeder_mustaine it just pulled up the account notes and it looks like your site has something causing excessive SQL queries. It also looks like something on your website is causing the page cache layer to always have a miss, which is likely contributing to the high queries. This means your server is having to generate the page on every view causing higher than normal resource usage. If you can send me an email at mike.hansen [a] endurance.com I would be happy to look and see what we can do about both reducing your queries and getting that page cache to HIT so your available resources will go further.

In reply to: Getting database errorHey @Techdevine, I am sorry to hear about the confusion. Bluehost.com does indeed still have US based support for the bluehost.com. If you can email me your domain, I am happy to look into the issue for you. Can you also provide me with the name of the tech you spoke with?
Thanks,
Mike Hansen

In reply to: Bluehost does not support MySQL 5.6 on Shared HostingI think there is a little confusion here. What Scott is referring to is our MySQL version on our shared hosting plan. For PHP all of our plans default to PHP 5.4 and have 5.6 available. For MySQL on our shared boxes we are indeed at 5.5.42, which is below the recommended version. We are currently in the process of upgrading MySQL on shared to use a higher version. That being said all of our other plans Cloud, Optimized WP Hosting, VPS, and Dedication all support higher versions of MySQL by default.

In reply to: mu plugin in new install@leejosepho I am one of the authors of that file. It is actually a clone of code in the MOJO Marketplace plugin. I am a Bluehost employee. We are installing this as an mu plugin when you use the WordPress tools mentioned above. It is also installed on some of the installs that do not use the MOJO installer. Like mentioned above, you can delete the file and nothing bad will happen. If you try to use a feature that requires the plugin in the future it will be auto-installed again.

In reply to: mu plugin in new installHey everyone. The sso file is a file we add during the install process to allow you to single sign on from within your control panel. You likely used this feature when you signed up and installed WordPress.

In reply to: Switching domain namesI reached out to a few people to find out what was going on and it seems they told you to update your site address too early. There is also a domain transfer going on that can take up to 5 days. You may want to contact support again and ask about the status of the domain transfer. Once that is complete, then you will need to update the urls using a tool like Velvet Blues.

In reply to: IDX integrationThere are a few plugins in the repo that handle integrating IDX with plenty of features.
