When WP-Statistics is enabled we get this error from the site SMTP mailer.
WP-Statistics changes our email address from .co.uk to .couk which then causes the error below.
I think there are several bugs in WP-Statistics !

I’ve got the exact same problem
‘Here is an error associated with Connecting WordPress Rest API
Please Flushing rewrite rules or activate WordPress REST API for performance WP-Statistics Plugin Cache / Go Settings->Permalinks’

I’m a novice at WordPress so can someone explain in plain english how to sort this out please ?

Our hosting is on a ‘LiteSpeed’ server if that makes any difference.
The hosting company is ‘Pickaweb’

I have resolved the issue with Everest Forms. They had not added our license details to our account.

I’m trying to change the email content.

The email gets sent but the content is wrong.

No, the update has not fixed the error. What can I do to stop it!
I can only see the error whilst logged in as admin on dashboard. The website doesn’t show any errors. Need I worry about it?

Why have we not had any response from the NextGen team ?
This is really annoying me and the viewers of our pages. They keep asking ‘why’ and I can’t give them an answer.
Come on NextGen, get your act together please.

Why don’t you use a simple video player which doesn’t give download links.

Thanks for the tip. Hopefully that will block people digging inside our php files.
Don’t think anything on our site relies on Rest API so shouldn’t be an issue.

Hi and thanks for all your help and advice.

Noticed when I installed the Proxy and VPN blocker onto the site that it shows some attackers are accessing the users of our site by inputting :-
https://******.********.*******-society.co.uk/wp/wp-json/wp/v2/users/
I’ve blocked out the actual site name so as not to give anyone any ideas.
It allows them to actually see the Admin and Author user names in a text file…..?
I’ve had a look on the security pages and it informs me that they don’t class it as a risk and that usernames are not secure anyway, that it’s the password associated with the username that gives the security. Your thoughts on this would be appreciated.
