In Webmaster, I see four roles: Author, Contributor, Editor, Subscriber.
But – the webmaster widget is showing for the Administrator (my) role.
Is there a way to remove it?

Aha, got it. Very easy to remedy by just editing the menu.

Thank you for the quick reply. Not meaning to seem dense here, and remember this isn’t my territory, but if, as you said “In most situations I would side with the plugin/theme developer as far a compatibility goes…” when would I know the plugin results are accurate?

In case this is helpful to someone:
I had WP Super Cache installed but deactivated. Removing it completely eliminated the error.

Extending the shortcode by adding cache_table_output=false fixes the issue.

It looks like I resolved it, purely by trial and error.
After the PHP memory change, I did a manual install. Still got the error. Then, all I did was deactivate and reactivate, and was then able to connect to WP.

This happened to me and was resolved by increasing the PHP memory limit.

I have exactly the same issue.
After first install, got white-screened.
Upped memory to 256, reinstalled JP.
Now am getting that error.
Am still trouble shooting and will post back here if I figure it out.

Yes, I did mean the Opt-in email, and it looks like it was just taking the long way to get back to me, as it DID finally arrive, and I can see the test user added to the MC List.

You use the normal method of adding galleries in WordPress.
