    Sorry for the late answer. I was busy during the week, and the weekend, so I can answer you now.

    I have switched off all the plugins except “Ultimate member”. I have changed to the “Twenty Twenty-Three” theme.
    We had a main menu (pages organised in menu and sub-menu structure)
    Problems:
    – The main menu appears but not in the structure, but all the sub-menu pages appear as a main menu item in the menu line. (In other words, the pages listed in the menu line)
    – I haven’t found how to set the main menu structure with the “Twenty Twenty-Three” theme. So I was not able to check why they appeared in that way.
    – using the original theme (our theme), it was possible.
    When I switched off the “Ultimate member” plugin. (So, no plugins at all, just the 20-23 theme), the same symptom with the menu; nothing changed.

    Now I switched back to our theme. (No plugins) and the menu works well. (we have menus and sub-menus again). ?? Also, I was able to configure the menu in the theme.

    Switched on the “Ultimate Member” plugin (only), the menu line completely disappeared.

    “1.1 Ajax NON Admin Frontend ajax use no admin files.” checkbox was checked.

    I removed this check, and finally anybody could upload photos.

    Thanks for your patient support!

    With love:

    Hmm, This is an official shared link worked for us always.
    I have tried on different machines with independent users using 3 different browsers. And it is working for me.
    Could you give a try on another machine, multiple browsers, pls.

    Thank you Jacob for your reply!

    There are no differences in the two settings!

    BUT

    Could you answer of my question, please: (Thinking that you have one server)
    Why I (admin) can upload photos from the wp-admin/admin.php?page=wppa_upload_photos and the same admin user (and no one else) can NOT upload photos from the frontend (into the album) ? ????
    see our screenshot: https://share.clickup.com/t/h/8yrbfd/EA7E34CNPTBATBR

    I guess that answering that question would solve the problem.
    Thx!

    Thanks for your replay!

    1. we havent modified the .htaccess file
    1.1 the .htaccess on the new provider:
    BEGIN WordPress
    # A BEGIN WordPress és az END WordPress sorok k?z?tti tartalom dinamikusan lett létrehozva, és csak WordPress sz?r?k módosíthatják. E kett? sor k?z?tti bármilyen kézi módosítás el fog veszni.
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    </IfModule>

    # END WordPress

    RewriteRule . /ujhonlap/wordpress/index.php [L]
    </IfModule>

    # END WordPress

    There are no differences that could modify the access permissions.

    2. I still don’t understand why it works on the admin page and why it doesn’t work on the frontend. (The .htaccess is the same on the server)
    Why the admin can upload photos from the wp-admin site but the same admin cannot upload from the frontend?

    Dear James,
    let me share my thought about this topic:
    1. one or two WordPress version before this function worked well.
    2. We havent modified the theme (neither modified/add any other plugins) just updated the wordpress to a new version.
    3. This drop down arrows (including the “HELP” on the top right) are working well on any other wp-admin pages.
    4. How the wp-admin pages are connected to the theme I am using? It should not! !!

    Concerning these point (1-4) I treat this like a wordpress error! Please, fix it!

    Until you fix this error, like a workaround: please, let me know what to modify in the theme (we are managing our theme with Artisteer.) That these function become working again with the new WordPress version(s)!

    Thanks!
