In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Line Breaks in Email the CheckboxesI’ve tried this using WPCode plugin and I’ve tested that the code is executing by doing some echo’s at the top but the function never executes. Should work in WPCode as well right?
Thread continued here for anyone with same issues:
Hi amagsumov
Thanks for the response. I’ll try that.
So this shouldn’t typically trigger then for normal users? Only when it detects a bot? So I could re-enable it when I’ve finished testing using incognito?
Hi amagsumov
OK, I’ve submitted the image via the support link you provided. I was unable to upload the image as the system wouldn’t allow it so Iv’e used an external URL.
Looking forward to feedback.
Hi Serge,
I just tried that. Unfortunately it didn’t help.
What happens now is that it redirects to the home page, but without any query string at all, not the SFW query string, nor the AFF query string that’s passed in the original http request.
Would it be possible, as Mihai suggested above, to get CleanTalk to keep the URL’s query arguments in place after the firewall check redirect?
Hi, sorry for not getting back sooner. I’ve just gone to this page: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/cleantalk-spam-protect/ and posted an updated copy. Thanks
OK, it seems that there is definitely some kind of issue here.
Looks like CleanTalk Anti-Crawler Protection intercepts the URL and redirects the request to a page that checks the user’s browser and IP address, prior to redirecting the user to the URL that was originally requested, but without the query string ‘aff’ attached.
It’s happened to me now a couple of times and I’ve picked up on the fact that when it redirects it to the site, the ‘aff’ query string is no longer there, and instead there is its own SPF string that it’s appended to the URL. I’ve attached two screengrabs, one of the page that is displayed when it intercepts the request and checks my browser and IP address etc, and then another screenshot after it’s gone through the check and redirected me back to the site. You’ll notice that the URL is different and that the ‘aff’ string is not being passed over. I imagine that the aff query string never got registered in the cookies prior to cleantalk intercepting..
Any insights on how to fix kindly appreciated.

OK I’ve gone with the option of having multiple WordPress.com accounts. Each account connected with a different Facebook page.
And it’s worked fine for two of the sites
However …
One one site it takes me to the wordpress.com site and says ‘You don’t have any WordPress sites yet. Would you like to start one?’ so I hit ‘Create Site’.
Asks me to choose a domain …
I say I already have a domain …
I type in the domain name …
It gives me two options:
‘Transfer my domain’ or ‘Connect yor domain’
either one try to get me to sign up to a paid plan!
How do I just connect like I have with the other two sites? I’ve not had to pay for those.
Hi Rafy,
That was an easy fix. I cleared the cache and it appears now!
Thanks!
MOK, so just to clarify then, if I want my wordpress site to post to various FB pages then that’s not possible, correct?
If I want to post a blog post when it gets published from one of my wordpress sites to an FB page then each instance of these connections will need to have a separate login, correct?
Hi Stef,
Thank you for responding.
So I think I’ve managed to do that but it’s not entirely clear.
When I go into the publicise settings on WordPress.com I get a page with a listing of the social media platforms, right now we’re only interested in Facebook … (https://imgur.com/5f6Krvj.png). It shows the main site, with a tick next to it, meaning that it’s connected to FB and that it will publish content to this site once a post is published on the site. However what’s confusing is that there is a button that says ‘Connect one more account’. I click that and continue as the main user. Then it shows a modal pop up window that says:
‘Connecting Facebook
Select the account you’d like to connect. All your new blog posts will be automatically shared to this account. You’ll be able to change this option in the editor sidebar when you’re writing a post.’It seems that only one site is connected, and that’s the main one, but the others, even though they are listed, above the line that says ‘connected’ (https://imgur.com/PdMKsm1.png), it looks like they won’t be showing the latest post when it’s published on the site bu only the FB page that is connected (the one below the line ‘connected’. Is that right?
Or have I got that wrong and the site will publish to all those FB pages when I post the article on our site?
Thanks,
MHi Animesh,
Thank you. It’s quite possible that it’s not the same WordPress.com account to which we connected Jetpack, so I’ll check that.
However, that said, my client wants to be able to install Jet Pack Social Media Sharing on 3 of this sites. Does that mean that each site will have to have it’s own account on WordPress.com?
Hi Sergio,
Thanks for the response. So it’s been quite easy to add it to the main menu, but I’m wondering what it would take to insert into the top bar or somewhere else?
Best,
MIt’s OK, I’ve figure it out. I can see that if I go to ‘https://www.mywebsite.com/my-account/ then it will display account details including orders and downloads. However what I don’t understand is how come the ‘My Account’ link doesn’t appear anywhere for users to click on?

In reply to: [Native Emoji] Failed to initialize pluginI’ve tried this sanyo4ik but in the plugin settings I don’t see any option for “Replace the Block Editor with the Classic Editor”.
Could it be that the new version of the plugin doesn’t have this option? I’ve got version Version 5.6.0.
