@andreeaszzz Hey there, nothing yet sadly.
Tutor LMS support just say to put them on YouTube unlisted or Vimeo but there zero protection so still not sure ??
I’ve uploaded mine on Streamsble for now (paid plan even though I already pay for Google drive) and it’s harder this way to see any links but not foolproof.
Let me know if you find a solution!

    Good to know thanks.
However I need to embed the google drive videos into another plugin so I’m not sure…

Thank you for your prompt response ??
Yes I want people to view my videos but NOT find out the location of the video.
On vimeo for example, you can find the video link by looking at the page source code very easily.
I don’t have a sample url as my videos are for online courses via the Tutor LMS plugin.
Will your plugin ‘hide’ the video links from the source code?
    I don’t even know if it’s possible!

Hi! I was so excited to see your message and updated. Sadly, the same issue happens: ”loading failed”, no products come up and I can’t search for any products ??

I know you’re trying to help and I appreciate your input.
Nothing was personal, I’m just telling you what they told me and what is happening.
I am no expert at this and have no idea why you can’t access the image and what could redirect or manipulate it.
    Thanks!
    mimi

    Hi Ben,
I understood what you said and I can’t explain why you cannot see the image. I have never had anyone in 3 years telling me they cannot access an image from our site.
The web hosting company said there was nothing blocking on the server so I do not what to say or why it’s suddenly showing in gmail when it didn’t before.
The social icons integrated in your plugin, which you said were definitely not missing, were not showing either and started showing at the same time as my header image.

I contacted the hosting company again and they said:

The link is working and the file is present. We are unable to recreate the issue even using a proxy, which makes it very hard to guess why your customer states he cannot see it, especially since you are able to access it as well, and there are no issues on your end also. If the server is blocking the display of it, neither us, nor you would be able to see it.

Ok… Out of the blue, the images are now showing!! All I did is deactivate the plugin, reactivated the other Woocommece Email Customizer plugin, deactivated it then reactivated yours and sent a test email… Baffling but fingers crossed it’s now working for good ??
I was wondering if there was a way to add a different image in the header for each email type?

    Hi Ben,
    Thank you for your reply.
I confirm that image is definitely there and the link is correct (I can see it in the customizer and by clicking on the link in chrome and firefox).
I confirm gmail does not break any of the images from the newsletters I send out to my customers.
I contacted my web hosting company again and they said ”The issue seems to be present only with Email Accounts associated with Gmail.I can confirm that there is nothing on the server that blocks images from being seen from certain senders.”
So if it’s gmail I don’t know what to do as it’s probably the most used email company in the world :/

    Hello again.
I contacted my web hosting company which confirmed it is nothing to do with them.
They think it’s to do with gmail not displaying the html content properly.
A web search said ”As a webmail client, Gmail has to take some precautions when displaying an email. Like most webmail clients, Gmail uses a preprocessor to strip any code from an email that could be a security threat or interfere with the rendering of the
    client interface itself.

Commonly stripped elements include JavaScript, object and embed tags, and Flash.
Gmail goes one step further and strips out both the head and body tags, as well as
any style tags in an email.”

If this is the case then gmail may be stripping the images from your email customiser, resulting in broken images (an issue I did not have with another woocommerce email customiser).

I am unsure what to do about it as I’d really like to use your plugin but at the same time cannot have my business look unprofessional by displaying ”broken” emails…

    Any thoughts?

Here are all the broken links – the links indeed go to a 404 error but I’m not sure what else to do here as they are the social media icons from your plugin and only one image uploaded to my media library (https://mixedmediastore.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Thank-you-for-your-order-at-the-Mixed-Media-Store-Australia-1.jpg)

    Hi @britner,

I made sure to click ‘the display’ images in the email as well as in the gmail settings (always load images from external sources).

I looked at the code and see a lot of ”’Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()” that correspond to the broken images.

Everything is normal in the WP customizer settings, I just checked again and all images are there…
    Does that make any sense?

Hi Ben, yes it’s a public site (retail) with lots of customers…

I am also getting an image issue: ALL images in the email including header image, product image and social icons appear as broken in the test email (but look fine in the WP customizer)…

Your plugin looks awesome but what to do to fix this issue?
