I am also having the same issue. I get the message “You’ll need to set up the MailChimp signup widget plugin options before using it”. You can make your changes here. But on clicking HERE, the link goes nowhere. Looking at the url when i hover over the link, I realise that it is pointing to the same page that I am currently on, hence why the link stays on the same page.

The link points to mysite/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=mailchimp-widget/lib/ns_mc_plugin.class.php (the link in the widget area points to the same place)

I also tried replacing the end of the url with mcapi.class.php in the browser, it takes me to a page which says i do not have sufficient permissions to access.

I am using version 1.2.4 with WP 3.2.1 (it says its compatible up to 3.1.4 but some ppl said that they got it to work with 3.2 soo..)… Hope this clarifies the problem.

So, I will try putting in the API the way the user above suggested.

ok found another post which suggested this in magic fields:

commenting this line 1198 in js/groups.js
tinyMCE.init(options);

It works now!

trying to redirect to https://mysite.com/username
The logout redirect works, but the login redirect takes me to the users profile.php page in the admin, even though i have it set to https://mysite.com/%USERNAME%

also it seems to be hanging in IE .. things like the remember me checkbox are not working properly etc.. but i hv WP version 3.1 so not sure if thats the problem.

You plugin seems pretty cool.. would have liked to use it …

somehow the redirect on logout works for me but the redirect on login using https://mysite.com/%USERNAME% redirects me to the user profile page..any idea why?

I am not up to date actually.. i see an upgrade to version 0.6.0 but I did not upgrade because I had not looked into any compatibility issues with WordPress 2.9.2 .. is it also compatible with 2.9.2?

Tried the fix you suggested above for WordPress 3.0.1 but it doesnt work for me…

can you tell me what else i can do to fix this issue in 2.9.2?

I am getting the same problem where i am trying to display the map in a tab, and only a small piece of the actual map is displayed in the top left corner.. the rest is greyed out. if i reload or refresh the page however, the entire map displays correctly. i do not want my users to have to refresh the page to see the map correclty.

I did change my stylesheet for my tabs to visibility:hidden, as suggested by the above post, but this does not seem to have helped.

Any help would be appreciated

When you are inside the post for editing, at the top of the text editor, above the buttons, where it says Upload/Insert, select the Add an image button… then add upload the files you want… it add the files to the Gallery, but dont mind that.. it seems like thats how this plugin works .. u can change the details of the file like the title/description etc to whatever you want.

Save the file.

then when you are back in the editor, select the paperclip button in the top, then you will be able to see the files that you have uploaded.. in other words it will no longer say ‘No attachment available for this post’
