Thanks Nabil – I had to create a new version of the timer and that one worked. After that, I checked the original version and it suddenly worked again. Not sure what was wrong but it’s all fine now.

I had already deactivated ALL plugins and that did not make a difference. I tried it again this morning just to be sure.

How do you switch the default theme? Is there any danger in being able to change it back? I don’t want to screw anything up as I am not a programmer!

I’m a bit nervous about trying the reset the plugins folder as I am not a programmer. Is there anything else I can check?

One more thing – posts are automatically jumping to a schedule date that is about 1 month into the future, instead of allowing you to publish directly. It definitely seems like something within WordPress, as opposed to something outside of WordPress.
