In reply to: Blank lines at end of postsI was just able to duplicate the problem on another site. It looks like it has something to do with moving between the Visual tab and the Text tab. So the UL thought may be a red herring. I use Classic Editor on all of my sites.

In reply to: Blank lines at end of postsI’ve been able to reproduce the problem on more than one site, with different themes. But here’s something that might be important for reproducing the problem. Just about all of the posts on one of my sites end with unordered lists. These extra lines are being added after the unordered lists.

In reply to: How to completly remove the new editor?I’m posting here to put my vote in about the new editor. I don’t want it, either. I just went into my blog to make a post and encountered this editor. It’s actually slowing me down and not just because I’m unfamiliar with it. Please make the new editor an optional plugin and RESTORE the previous editor to its official status.

In reply to: Page address problem after clicking “Log In”I went into the database via phpMyAdmin and found siteurl. I fixed it up by hand, and now everything seems to be running fine. I suggest that you look at how siteurl gets set in the first place. I suspect the problem had something to do with how many subdirectories deep the site is. I don’t particularly feel like testing that theory, though. It’s working for the time being.

In reply to: Page address problem after clicking “Log In”The problem appears to be in the building of that address. Where is that done?

In reply to: Page address problem after clicking “Log In”OK, I dropped those tables, deleted the wordpress subdirectory, and then ran through the 5-minute install process again. Same error.
By the way, the server is running Windows XP Pro.

In reply to: Page address problem after clicking “Log In”I installed into my existing osCommerce database, so I don’t want to completely drop it. Is there a list of the tables that WordPress uses? Are they just the ones that start with wp-?
