Thank you for your message, but this plugin is intended just to remove the ‘category’ slug from the URL structure. It doesn’t change any other WP Internals related to querying pages or categories.

I’ve tried to reproduce the issue with this installed versions:

WordPress 3.8
WPML Multilingual CMS 3.0.1
WPML CMS Nav 1.4
WPML Sticky Links 1.3
WP No Category Base 1.1.0
Default theme

– Configured WPML to use subdirectories for languages (e.g. /en)
– WordPress permalinks are configured as ‘/%category%/%postname%’

Creating a category within a category and then adding a post to it works without throwing any 404 errors. Example:

https://example.com/furniture/chairs/my-luxury-chair
https://example.com/en/muebles/sillas/mi-lujosa-silla

I would suggest to use the ‘Monkeyman Rewrite Analyzer’ plugin on the affected site to see why that page is giving problems.

Now, regarding the plugin. The stable version should be 1.1.0. The dev version is 1.1.5. I understand your confusion: I have to cleanup the code @ github, please don’t pay attention to that.

I have personally used Yoast WP SEO plugin with No Category Base and AFAIK there are no issues running bot of them at the same time.
