In reply to: Post Formats Not available -> Should They?theaccordance, you have to modify your functions.php in your Child Theme (or Parent Theme if your Child Theme does not have such file)
Past the code:
add_theme_support('post-formats', array('aside', 'chat', 'gallery', 'image', 'link', 'quote', 'status', 'video', 'audio'));
Voilà!

In reply to: WP 3.0.4 crash with Buddypress 1.2.7Actually, I should say, it’s running fine on https://www.MiniComplainer.com a site that is hosted on the web (not local), and that works perfectly.

In reply to: WP 3.0.4 crash with Buddypress 1.2.7Great tips! Updated the memory to 64M, still crashing!!
Arg, it works fine on my hosting site, so it must be something about the server???Below are the details again:
CPU: 3.4 GHz
RAM: 1.00GB
PHP memory_limit: 64M
Your server is running PHP version 5.2.2 and
MySQL version 5.0.41 which will be great for WordPress 3.2 onward

In reply to: WP 3.0.4 crash with Buddypress 1.2.7I double checked with Health check.
It seems like everything is compatible with BP’s requirement…“Your server is running PHP version 5.2.2 and MySQL version 5.0.41 which will be great for WordPress 3.2 onward.”
I enable mod_rewrite in Apache as well.
Any idea? The site is now installed in ..\root\wordpress\Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Help! WP crash with BuddypressI have the same problem here, i just want to test buddypress out.
Mine is a local server with PHP 2.9.2, WP 3.0.4. I’ve disabled some of my suspicious plugin, still doesn’t work.I’ve tried both auto-install, and local install (zip file).
I can delete the files and see admin page again, but I want to know what the problem is…Any idea?

In reply to: Need help with how to put a snippet on the homepageHi mnowluck, this is not related to this thread, but I am wondering if you have ever heard back from jstockdale about this post about Joolma password migration, or found a new way to get the issue solved:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/joomla-user-to-wordpress?replies=17I have an ongoing discussion here:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/plugin-joomlamambo-to-wordpress-migrator-importing-spam-users-not-any-content?replies=11Thanks!
Hey Christian, Happy New Year!
I upgraded to 1.3.4, delete all of my users, and re-migrate the site, still does not work. Users are migrated, but not the passwords. However, from your plugin page, it sounds like the issue has been resolved
https://it-gnoth.de/projekte/wordpress/wordpress-plugins/Could you confirm?
Thank you,
I found this post:

I need to research more! ?? Thanks,Hello @xenaco,
Thank you for your information! I gave it a try, and it works–EXCEPT user passwords are not migrated! I have about 1000 users in this project that I’m working on, I do not want to lose any users because of password retrieval issues, do you or anyone has an idea?
I had been researching about this same issue before trying Joomla2WP too, I stumbled upon a post saying that Joomla uses 100 chars while WordPress uses 64. I am wondering if anyone has had any success…
Hi Christian,
Could you tell me if your plugin would delete the original database of Joomla? I’m working on a site, but Joomla is still the official site, while WP is the beta site. It’s a silly question, but please confirm!
Thanks
