Thank you for explaining the importance of a [:]. You’re right of course, that would make a difference with more text added.

(Although tags are separated with comma, so it shouldn’t affect search results. Some of the pictures with tag [:en]architecture[:de]Architektur[:pl]architektura
had also other tags added, after a comma, and it worked ok (for search results).)

Also, yes, now i can also search for Farbe and kolor and it works, it needed some time (i had tags included in the search from the beginning).

I noticed, that now tags work perfectly on your test site. How???

I checked what is the difference between links, and somehow links on my website don’t include the whole tag, like yours, only one language:

I remade index photos, didn’t change anything.

So now i changed a colour?Farbe?kolor tag into [:en]colour[:de]Farbe[:pl]kolor[:].
Adding [:] at the end actually made it worse somehow. Now only the first word is searchable in album admin page.

So: when searching for “colour”:
there are 3 photos found with the Tag [:en]colour[:de]Farbe[:pl]kolor[:].

When searching for “farbe” or “kolor” there are 0 results.

I tried also changing the language i edit website in, but searching for “Farbe” while the admin interface is in German also doesn’t yield any results.
But while hovering over the tag, there is a number of pictures visible.

As for the question how i managed to have translated tags – i’m afraid i have no idea, i just put them like that, following suggestions from this thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/multilingual-links-on-wppa/

Notice, that there is no ending [:] for the links. That’s why i didn’t use it with tags.

eh. and i was sooo happy when i discovered that i can have albums and photos descriptions in different languages – that works perfectly:

I also changed the description of the first photo, and it works.
What’s funny, originally i didn’t end the name of the album with [:], and it worked anyway. i checked now with photo description – also works with or without [:].
