Thank you everyone for all your support and advice. The site I am using at present is responsive and I think that is the best way to go. I will download Mystique and see if the JetPack Mobile option can be activated.

    Again thanks to all.

    Hi,

I am back in and Jetpack working. My Hosting company eventually responded and within minutes had sorted the problem. All they had needed to do was increase my memory. Pity it took nearly three months to sort that out. However, Jetpack is back and I can now proceed.

Thank you all for your support and advice.

Right, some real information at last. Thank you so much. JetPack Mobile option, if it works on my site, would give it responsive features? Responsive themes are really what I should be aiming for.

    Thank you.

I am not really sure. I can view my site on my blackberry but have no idea if it is what you would technically call responsive. I have been searching through the mystique theme to find out but it doesn’t say one way or the other.

    I give up!

    Thanks

    Hi,

Have tried all you suggested and but with no luck and have persistently requested the error message but between phone calls and emails to my hosting company, no one will come back to me with details. However, I tried to activate it again today and eventually I myself got this message on a blank white screen.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7680 bytes) in /home/trulytea/public_html/wp-admin/includes/menu.php on line 145

Does this mean I am exceeding my memory allowance as I have asked them if this might be the problem but no one will respond to me? It is so frustrating and now I am locked out of the site.

    Thanks again.

It doesn’t say there either. Thank you again, I will keep looking.

    Thank you so much WPyogi,

Great. I will download it and use it for my site transfer. Thanks again.
Is this version responsive do you know? It doesn’t mention it or maybe all themes are now?

    Big Thanks,

    Vivien

I recently changed from WordPress.com to www.ads-software.com and am using the weaver theme II. Initially Jetpack worked fine when activated but my site went down and I had to get the hosting company to get it back up. When they did, I only got a blank screen with my header on the top. I had no access to my Dashboard. I contacted my hosting company and after some time they sorted the problem. I had my site back and running but to do so they had to deactivate Jetpack. I have tried on several ocassions to re-activate it but it just disables my site and I am back with the blank screen once more and no access to my dashboard. I am careful now not to immediately hit the back arrow so that it gets me back into my dashboard where I have to deactivate jetpack once more.

As a result of this I am still working from my WordPress.com site while the www.ads-software.com one sits there. I need my stats and I need Jetpack for a site re-direct. In the meantime I am paying a hosting company for nothing as the site sits idle. All new work is going onto my old site as I do not trust the .org one yet.

The Hosting company say it is a memory issue, www.ads-software.coms and not theirs. I have very little knowledge of the lingo you are all speaking so am not sure what to do.

Any ideas? Ones that I can understand please.

    Thank You
