In reply to: [Table for Divi] Woocommerce module breaks stylingHello @wasim98,
Thanks for your reply! I managed to handle the issue by adding more css definitions in terms of the borders and the width of the table so I’m currently unable to reproduce the problems. There was a remaining issue that caused the table to be aligned left on desktop no matter what I did but I made it fullwidth by adding a value in pixels on the GUI so its more or less OK. ??
Dear Alberto,
Thank you very much for your answer, much appreciated! We use the plugin in two other WordPress installations with different themes, actually I’m merging the two sites into a new installation with Divi so the plugin is being used with three different themes and we have the same issue with all three. The translation issue is also underlining that there is something wrong with the mobile view as it works fine on desktop. I’m a bit stuck here. ??
Kind regards,
Viktor

In reply to: [Alchem] Footer widgets with default home page?It seems to be a bug. If I edited the widget area in the home page customizer, the widgets do appear but after I quit the customizer, it still shows only the content of the left widget area even if I had saved it.

is it possible to have minor adjustments from the admin panel? I would like to remove the username from the related post display but can’t figure out the setting location.
Many thanks,

In reply to: [Motif] Grid layout for Portfolio itemsDear Kathryn,
many thanks for taking care of my question, it is nice to have such a great support for the product that is fun to use anyway. ??
Thanks for the useful file list and the suggestion which seems like a good way to figure it out (I’ll give it a try soon).
There is one little bit that I shall specify a bit more in detail. Motif actually does feature a cool grid layout for its support of child (sub)pages. I’m also happy to adopt that for the Portfolio in case its easier than messing around with files originally designed for other themes.
Kind regards,
Viktor

In reply to: [qTranslate] Translate captions of the imagesHi Everybody,
I have faced with the same issue and I tried to add kambiz_marta’s code to my functions.php but the tooltip shows only a < character.
I’m using 4.0.1 and Qtranslate Plus (which tends to work fine with hacks like this in other occasions).
Would you have any advice please?
Thanks and kind regards,
Viktor

In reply to: [Timeline Express] Containers cutting off textThank you, it solves the problem.
(Thanks also for the heads up, next time I’ll open a new thread, this time I thought it is related to post #2 of this thread. :))

In reply to: [Timeline Express] Containers cutting off textDear Evan,
I’ve added different css rules to my child theme’s style.css file to tackle other issues but it doesn’t seem to be doing anything. It doesn’t seem to be a difficult task but somehow its not working but it is OK if I change the plugin’s css files, although I’m not keen to do it.
Thanks a lot!
Viktor

In reply to: [NextCellent Gallery - NextGEN Legacy] Compatibility with Gallery post type?I’ve created a child theme which may help in case there will be a custom hook that would generally enable the feature regardless the theme being used.
Thanks a lot for taking a look into it!

In reply to: [NextCellent Gallery - NextGEN Legacy] Compatibility with Gallery post type? Thanks a lot for taking your time. ?? I’m not an expert in coding so please forgive me for not being fully competent in this issue but as far as I know, the availability of the post format is a core WP feature but it is up to the theme to enable it or not. So I believe that such a development may be useful for any theme developer in general.
The shortcode being used is [gallery] which is a core WP shortcode for embedding multiple images into any post, this post format feature just enables the user to check the photos without navigating for the post itself.

In reply to: [NextCellent Gallery - NextGEN Legacy] Compatibility with Gallery post type?Hi Niknetniko,
First of all thank you very much for taking care of the plugin and also for paying attention to this feature request. ??
I’m building a site with the Enlightenment theme which features a nice microblogging interface with post format support. You can see an example for a Gallery post type (please scroll down a bit).
https://demo.onedesigns.com/enlightenment/?page_id=1871
The theme documentation says that
For posts with the “Gallery” format, the first [gallery] shortcode is extracted and displayed in place of the post’s content followed by the excerpt:
For the time being I’ll keep using the regular post format and write a few lines before embedding a NextCellent shortcode but this way there will be a featured image and/or an excerpt on the main blog page and not this nice small grid layout. It is only a small compromise but if there was a way to implement this, it would be welcomed. ??
Thanks!
Hello Evan,
Thanks for the update, it still breaks title words in the middle of the words but I was wondering if it was caused by having the css edited to modify the headline size?
Thanks a lot for your efforts and wishing you a great weekend, rating is on its way and I’m also planning a Hungarian translation but not sure on its ETA.
Best regards,Viktor
