thjnks. I thought it shouldn’t take more than 3-4 months for google to inderx my blog. I have been using Webmaster Central for almost six months now.

I am adding some more info, maybe that will help you get more insight:

About four months ago, my blog was the first result in Google if I
searched using my name. But then it just disappeared. I’ve done
anything and everything to see if I meet the guidelines but haven’t
been able to figure out the cause.

a. I have also submitted a sitemap, the link is https://manukhanna.com/sitemap.xml

kostuj were u able to fix this thing? I am having the same problem and it is very annoying.

I got pagging to work by deleting the home.php file. it works fine but now i have changed my theme itself. But als this one also uses home.php and paging doesn’t work in this one as well ??

jonlandrum,m i don’t think the problem exists with all theme3s home.php. WP.com also has the same 2813 theme but there the paged navigation worked fine. Wonder how they did it?

Also this theme also uses home.php and works.

And yes, the /page/2 thingy doesn’t work.

Let’s try and answer your queries one by one:

1. “error establishing a database connection”- Open the wp-config.php file in the root of WordPress installation and check that the DB_NAME’, DB_USER, DB_PASSWORD, DB_HOST details are as per tyhe database you created. But I think the error is because you specified your DB_HOST as “localhost” whereas your host requires you to enter a specific IP address. In your webserver config, go to the page where the various databases are listed and look under a column called “Database Host” and enter the value given there in place of localhost. Normally, only 1% of webhosts (including the one I use) prevent use of localhost, but then again, it isn’t something one can assume. If you can’t locate the proper host name, contact the webserver support team.

2. If you are able to resolve this, your second problem should get resolved on its own.

Do post back how it went?

Ya I am experiencing the same problem and those technorati guys are just not willing to reply to my mails for help. Really can’t understand for what they are showing such attitude.

Same problem here dude, technorati is still showing links that I deleted a month ago. No telling when Technorati will update your links. You could try deleting your claim and registering a new claim.
