In reply to: [WP Reading Progress] Reading time not working well with iframesHi @ruigehond, of course I made a mistake (one should not write support issues): I use my own function to determine reading time, but I still use your reading-bar, which is great.
Okay, done. Thanks.
Hi @shameemreza and thank you for your answer! I checked a few shops of mine and noticed that this seems to be the right behaviour. I was triggered by a very specific combination of product-properties that did not cause the order to be marked as completed: On one site I use Sensei LMS and courses are sold through WooCommerce. As the links to the courses are only sent out on a completed order, I wondered why this stopped working. Turns out, only “downloadable” products are automatically moving the status to “completed” once a payment is made. “Virtual” products – and a course is not downloadable, but virtual – do not.
I used a snippet from WooCommerce to auto-complete an order, if it includes a virtual product. So all is good and this is not a WooCommerce-problem per se, but a problem that involves Sensei LMS and WooCommerce. Hence I do not continue this thread here; this is the wrong thread.
I informed the Sensei-Team, too, and they see it the same way as I do: Even if a product is virtual, it should be marked as completed as there is no follow-up like a delivery or so.
Running on 1.9.1, experiencing the exact same error… Any hope, this gets fixed soon? – If I can help in any way (logs, etc.), name it!

In reply to: [DynaMo] How to measure performance gainOkay, great, thank you. (This is from someone really suffering under massive speed losses just in rendering the website once it has more than 1 language. Using the backend is the worst experience, too.)

In reply to: [Media Sync] Filenames with diacritics not recognizedKind of solved the issue. Downloaded the folder with all the unrecognized files. Simply uploaded it again. Now Media Sync encoded them correctly and was able to import them. Such a simple solution. It seems the problem is related to “unicode equivalence”. No idea, but for me it is solved for now.

In reply to: [Media Sync] Filenames with diacritics not recognizedHi Erol,
thanks for the quick answer. (This is rare these days here on www.ads-software.com, so really: thank you!)
I have just checked: utf8mb4_unicode_520_ci – so it’s exactly the same as your’s. And I have uploaded a file. This is how it looks like for me now:
* post_title: Fa?rberdistel_3.jpg
* post_name: fa%cc%88rberdistel_3.jpg
* Link on file in media sync (after successful import): /wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Fa%CC%88rberdistel_3.jpg
* Filename on server: Fa?rberdistel_3.jpgThen I did it the other way round. I uploaded the file into the media library and tried to catch it with media sync:
* Filename on server: _Fa?rberdistel_MEDIASYNCTEST.jpg.
* Display in media sync: _F?rberdistel_MEDIASYNCTEST.jpg.
* Link in media sync: /wp-content/uploads/2021/08/_F%C3%A4rberdistel_MEDIASYNCTEST.jpgSee the issue?
Upload on server through media library: Fa%CC%88rberdistel
Upload on server via FTP, then import through Media Sync: F%C3%A4rberdistelThey are different; I expected them to be the same. I guess this is the issue that prevents importing?
Thank you,

Hm. The answer would be interesting, though. I have a very similar issue: I have duplicated a course and if I publish everything, I can see a list of all lessons of a course.
However, while the course is in draft mode, about half the lessons are missing. Interesting enough, every second item in my lessons-list is missing, so I see lessons
1, 3, 5 and 7, but not 2, 4, 6, etc.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Connection to WordPress.comOMG, no contact form there. See what I see (and I am logged in): https://www.dropbox.com/s/zq66nr7pp2whvra/Bildschirmfoto%202020-11-10%20um%2015.43.48.png?dl=0
Out of curiosity: what theme are you using?
Hej, @felipeminholi, try to switch to a different base-theme (say, twenty-twenty). Are the icons still disappearing? I had exactly the same issue and in my case, it was the theme – not Kadence Blocks – that caused this issue. Solution: change theme.
Hi Onur,
Unfortunately, editing experience with Kioken Blocks really is a mess. Here is a screenshot of what Google Chrome’s developer console puts out.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/0iyb3fctiovk4pf/kioken-experience.png?dl=0 (I will delete the image end of March)
There are multiple IDs, errors in Block validation, just about everything that comes up to my mind. I am willing to clone the site so that you can take a look at it, but this has to be rather fast and – to be honest – I am highly in doubt that this will be fixed in a timely manner.
I see the same issue in this support-topic, which is 3 months old and no news there either. https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/block-validation-failed/
A follow-up: I have now experienced the same issue not only with icons in buttons, but also with dividers and basically every single graphical element, Kioken makes use of (icons, shades, etc.). – There is a ton of errors in my backend (as well as in the frontend) to the level of my pages being no longer editable in the backend (overlapping error-messages).
At the moment Kioken Blocks is therefore not usable for me and as this thread is open for 4 days now, support seems to be limited.
Can you reproduce the problem? Is there a timeline on when it will be fixed?

In reply to: [GutenBooster] BreadcrumbYes, please (child theme)! Bc I ran into some rather unpleasant issues when simply working with functions.php and style.css. (And thanks for the quick reply.)

In reply to: [AMP] Plugin installed, but “wrong directory”-error upon activationThe dir name was sbb-guidepost. I deactivated the plugin, renamed the directory to amp, now it works without problems so far.
And no, there was no empty amp-directory.
Thanks anyway!
